Remember folks, this is standalone from the below release (update 4). If you have a Slayertest directory already within Quake, rename or delete it (As this zip has a moddir named 'slayertest').
Than, unzip this file into Quake directory.

Is it normal to lag a lot from gibs?
Needs to have its directory renamed to lowercase, to run on Linux.
So, how the hell do I get this work exactly? I tried putting the files in folders every combination possible, open quake, no mod.
To someone who has modded doom for years, I am lost here dude.
Unzip into quake, the zip contains the proper filestructure.
Than run the .bat and if that doesn't work, look for quakespasmspiked.exe (in base Quake directory), right click and make a shortcut, than right click and go into 'properties' and add -game slayertest

When I try to run it with the latest version of quakespasm-spiked-win64 I get "R_RenderView: NULL worldmodel." Does it have to be the 32bit version?
Depends on your version of windows, akso I recommend the spiked that comes bundled with this not later builds.

All the Heretic / Hexen maps. Type 'map mapname' in console to see what's missing and what's there.

Hello guys, i love DOOM 2016 and i'm really happy to play this mod, but for some ****** reason every time a lost soul spawns the game crashes an go to the console screen saying "Bad builting call number 335" and Host_Error:Program error"
And it's unplayable when you get to the "hell" ingame, it's easylly possible to trick the game in the first inconter of lost souls but after this, it's a nightmare. Someone know how to fix this?
It's an error hat has been fixed on our end, in an unreleased build. You're playing this in regular Quakespasm. Run QuakespasmSpiked instead, to not only fix these issues, but do it anyway to also get more quality-of-life features as well!

It's in the quake/slayertest directory and is called slayerstestaments.bat meThinks

also trying to use the newest quakespasmspiked 64 bit can crash between level loads but ya take what you can get I suppose

I keep having trouble downloading this. After I try to download this it just sits there no matter the mirror I try??? Any ideas?
Perhaps a different web browser? If u use chrome, try internet explorer. Or vice versa.

So I unzipped the zip I downloaded directly into "Quake" and when I type "game slayertest" it says Add-on: Slayertest required. I've got no clue how to fix this.

This is literally the sickest quake mod I've played. Can't afford the rig to play Doom Eternal, so this is a pretty good compromise!
Just wondering how to toggle HUD - cl_hud usually works but its an 'unknown command'... for some reason when I load from saved game, the HUD is gone, so just need to turn it back on.
Any help much appreciated!

Will there be support for Quake 1.5? or is there a way to run Slayertest with Quake 1.5 right now?

It'll be tough, those are two seperate mods and on top of that they're meant for two different sourceports altogether.
I have ideas an thoughts about your mod:
More hp loot when you do glory kills (stop droping health about 75%-50% of current health).
Drop health when you kill with the chainsaw, additionally to ammo.
More armor when you use the fire i think is too low.
And that's all.
Good mod i liked so much im just doing this feedback, because i would like it to be the closest thing to the original.

Alls I know off top of my head is impulse 9 for all weapons, and impulse -1 for quad. Also,'give 2' 'give 3' etc for receiving weapons in those slots... 'give s ##' for shells, n nails (bullets), etc.
Problem: I cant progress in the main campaign. For some reason this game does not have the meathook mod for the super shotgun. Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing something?

tried running this in quake remastered on steam. It launches, but when i get to the hub, the "hit f2 to exit menu" doesnt work, so i cant actually play. Also seems to show errors in the console and not launch, or crash in steam glquake and retail quake. I can only seem to get this to work with the included Quakespasm-spiked 64 bit executable thats included here. Any insight on this?
Yes, it was made only for Quakespasm and Quakespasm Spiked, other source ports are not [yet] supported. They may run, but bugs persist. FTE is the next one that'll have support, as it's almost fully compatable as it is.

Its a bug with the mod, itll revert back. Next version will fix that, but fir now youd haveta edit the config file. More info when I get home later!
Can you please make install instructions and patch this mod if needed to work on the bethesda launcher version of quake 1 ? I installed first STTAGfix then I overwritten it with the content from the patch 4 . I put STTAGfix in bethesda q1 directory and typed in console game STTAGfix but it did not work . The screen of slayer testament came up but it says , a game error has occurred .... svc_nop/ .
No, dont do that. It says 'fresh install' for a reason. ;)
This is true fir a lot if Quake mods. Often, najor updates will have iasues if u try to overwrite it. Rename tye old middir, than do JUST the tag4 install.
