Is the "Disable Superweapons" mod piece broken or intentional?
it prevents me making one but for some reason that does not Apply to the AI, who are firing them all over the place and at me
I'll take a look at that. It really should prevent everyone from building Super Weapons, but maybe the AI found a way around it or I missed a faction. I'm also asking stardock a question about the DLC ID which is how I'm doing this.
As it sounds like the AI can still research even if the DLC ID isn't valid :-/ I'm adding a dummy pre-req no faction has to prevent them from actually researching the technology.
In my last game, the vasari + tec(or hypercorp) planet killer thing was being used
So yeah.. they broke my system with 1.8. I was putting a dlc id of 0 to hide/disable the research. Apparently with 1.8 I need a six digit number for it to work right. I can release a small patch for this.

Goafan, psychoak and I put our heads to together to see if we could figure out how to make it work. We found using a six digit "fake" dlc id allows us to hide the research in the tree. I went ahead and put an impossible research pre-req on the hidden research just to make sure the AI doesn't pick it up ;)
Unless AI finds a way to bypass it again, in that case il just have to live the Wandering Vasari life lol
Just wanting to mention a possible bug?
Ships and strike craft often seem to run off after a "Ghost" target at the Pirate base
(only noticed this so far playing as colonials from Kobol mod)
Pirate strike craft seem to chase "it" too (Their ships cant "target" whatever this thing is so they behave as normal)
Got a Mal-Ware warning from your download. can you look into this? Would like to play the latest version, but if my firewall is correct, your file may be infected

my game is crashing... everytime in game.. and the loading is really slow it takes about 13 mins to even load the screen.. pls help i update it when you post that thing??? i cant rremember what was it but yeah like a pathc 2 i guess so yah..

Now convert the mod choose which factions you want and make it a total conversion as much as possible. Change the gameplay up and make it a different thing.
