A new game mode has been added: Sole Survivor (inspired by Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor)!
This mod is so big, it has to be uploaded as two RAR files! This is the first file, part 2 is here:

Extract both files to your Homeworld2\Data folder (with WinRAR 5.0 or higher version) and read the PDF manual for installation.
Main changes from 3.5:
New game mode added: Sole Survivor -- player will have only one random ship (of the chosen class) to begin with. The ship can be dramatically upgraded by eating crates. To eat crates automatically, just select the ship and press F4 to enter the aggressive mode.

Many weapons (including laser and pulsar turrets) now have better anti-missile capabilities, meaning some capital ships will have better protection against Viper and Cruise Missiles.
Improved algorithm for the Kamikaze command in the Haxor menu. Ships will be able to kamikaze on the targets they are attacking.
Planets in the solar system maps now have atmosphere halo and aurora effects (made by mickey_312).

Fixed an issue where the Class Selector button could become irresponsive to clicks.
Lots of crashing at load on mp maps, I would post the hw2.log but it's too many characters.
