While im using texture mod in Dark Encounter map, i saw several floor texture had reflection on the grass, stones, etc.. Was this a bug or it might be a texture mod? Also there's still a black wall texture, haven't you tried to fix it yet? Or maybe planning them? I can post you an image link if you didn't get it

Also i found another glitch, this shadow here keeps blinking every 1 frame/nanoseconds so does to my character as well. Any ways to fix this or maybe turn off the sprite shadows? Ibb.co

I'll check that out. You can try lengthening shadow lifespan or turning off GLDEFS shadows.

Reflections are generated according to the perceived color of the flat. You can try the "Less Reflections" preset. If the black texture is the same issue as before, the lack of light is its distance from a light source. This is most likely geometry and light placement. You can try "More light" and "Less Color" presets together. Adding color from Doom's palette generally makes a sector darker.

Fantastic mod i am using it for doom64 ce however on some maps it just stutters so badly i cant use it other maps it runs like a dream. I even tried to turn all the settings off in the mod but it doesn't seem do anything or even turn off any reflections on the floor as i was trying to isolate what is causing the bad stuttering and low frame rate i am using the latest gzdoom and your mod. I also tried turning the settings down in the gzdoom and my resolution from 4k right down to 1440p and it still made no difference to the frame rate or stuttering or 1080p. is there something i am doing wrong any advice would be nice as i want to use this mod but i just can't unless it gets sorted

Thanks! Did you try the performance presets? What map is giving you the problem?

Thank you for you replying to me so fast map 4 HOLDING AREA and i have a 3080 cpu 5600x and 16meg ram I stop using it after that map. map 1,2,3 are fine what are the performances presets i just installed the mod and it all worked until on the 4th map and just turned everything off in your mod and it just done the same i thought it might be the doom64 ce or the gzdoom settings that needs to be turned off somewhere causing a conflict but that didn't seem to work unless i was missing something. shame i love the relighting it's the best i have ever seen it makes the doom game look amazing please see if you can sort this out for me maybe download the gzdoom and doom64 ce version and take a look for me i have it in 4k as well but like i said i even lowered my resolution down but the frame rate and stuttering was the same

Thanks. I'll check it out!
Edit: this level seems OK to me without add-ons. What are you loading with the IWAD?

It's still called Relighting Settings under Full Options near the bottom. I have divided the settings into submenus with tooltips and presets that (hopefully) make more sense of what the different settings do. Please note the hotfix just posted that will make shadow much smoother.
