+++++Installing the RC MOD+++++
Steps for Installation:
1-Download and Run the RCModInstallerV#.##.exe
--This Installer will install RC Mod game.
2-(Optional) If you want to download extra movies then download the LATEST RC Mod INTERFACE updater from Moddb.com
+++++Playing the RC MOD+++++
Steps for Playing SINGLEPLAYER:
1-Run lotrbfme2RCMod.exe
2-Press SINGLEPLAYER (Check "Windowed?" if you want to play in a windowed screen!)
Steps for Playing MULTIPLAYER:
1-Instert your The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king (ROTWK) cd into your cd drive and run the game~Go to step 5!
--Alternative for people who do not own ROTWK you must download the RC Mod CD!

2-Extract the files out of the LotrBfMe2RCMod.rar (3.2 +/- GB!)
3-Mount or Burn the "CD" to a cd/dvd.
---Mount it with DEAMON TOOLS or another mounting program Daemon-tools.cc
--DEAMON TOOLS is an easy tool to work with and should not be too hard to understand, but if you have problems you can always ask in our forums!
4-After mounting the CD you must Hide the real CD Drive - There may be some programs for this, you can also do this manually -B1 is manual hiding
5-Run lotrbfme2RCMod.exe
6-Press MULTIPLAYER (Check "Windowed?" if you want to play in a windowed screen!)
--B--SPECIAL-CASES-USUALLY-NOT-NEEDED----
B1-Go to My Computer
---Select the CD Drive
---Right click and press on Properties
---Press on the "Hardware" tab
---Select the name of your CD Drive
---Press Properties
---Change Device usage to: Do Not use this device (disable)
~~~Whenever you want to use the real cd drive again do not forget to change the Device usage back to (Enable)
---Press OK and close the other properties window by pressing OK again

Does this require the expansion?
No it does not require the expansion, you can run singleplayer without it. For multiplayer you need either the RC Mod CD or the ROTWK cd ;)
it doesnt work for me where do i put this
you are supposed to install it to a clean directory... if thats the problem...
When i try to start multiplayer it says "Battle for middle earth requires an update"
Multiplayer does not work, only the LAN multiplayer works. (Internet one does not)
this mod is the best but why is not a Rise of the Witch King !!!!!!!!!!
It is partially ROTWK mod, but we dont like the angmar faction EA made, so its not in there. Perhaps in the future we may make an Angmar factions, but we do not know if we will do this.

okay i think it is a shame that some things are away in this version (still want it :D) but when i install it says:
RC Mod has not been totallyinstalled because of the following reason:
RCArt.big: this file contains invalid data (error 21FC)
You will have to run this utility again to completly install RC Mod.
why this happends no clue and now i cant get 1.07.
oh yeah i donwloaded it over and over again same error.
i downloaded 1.07 got this error thann i tried this!!, 1.00 1.06 1.07 updater same. now i am playing 1.06 but do i need the screen from 1.04 cuze i have gone throught the rohan camp twice and still no things form skirmish and stuff so kinda confussed
my bad i started up the game later and went to have dinner came bk to see every thing was normal so i can just play (1.06) like it and thx for tweaking beasts kinda empty, still like the critters OH about that the wargs some of them were normal and some of em were pink i turned shadows off so that cant be it help plz AND a happy new year
You only need to install V1.07 to be able to play the mod, the "Main" installer and such is not longer needed...
So... The installers do not work correctly?

nee ze geven een error weer zoals je daar kan zien, maar ik snap niet waarom dat gebeurt want bij andere mods niet, maar de installers ik kan ze opstarten alles gaat goed en dan na het installeren geeft ie de error weer. i kept in in english first to not be rude and so others can respond aswel but now u are hgelping and i know you are dutch :)

Its possible you are encountering a nasty bug we have not been able to fix... Describe what you are doing when it crashes, so we can determine what the problem might possibly be.
I am playing a skirmish game 3v3 I get about 4minutes in and it just crashes. I have all the fractions in the game also. The map was Dagorlad. I have played 1v1 and it worked fine
remove gondor if possible... It seems to have a strange bug

I can't play the campain, when I select the difficulty level it switches back to main menu.
I also don't have all faction, I only have Gondor, Rohan, Mordor, Isenguard and Harad.
Those are the only factions currently enabled, we have not implemented a campaign yet...
It won't start up. When I run the shortcut it tells me that I need to update my .NET framework. What is that and how do I do that?
Go to microsoft.com or something like that and find the .NET framework 3.0 or later version.

Should be any patch, but 1.06 is advised (latest)

Help please when i instal mod and run it i get this "MISSING: 'ERROR:BaseGameFilesNotFound" what should i do?
You have BFME 2 installed correctly?
Perhaps running the updater should fix this, depends on if there are any .BIG files in your install location (of the RC Mod)
Does this mod require ROTWK?
Only to play multiplayer, though you can mount the RC Mod cd for this too, for the rest you can just play it with only BFME 2.
I pressed the "main" download and it bringed me in here, then i picked the another one and then it moved me also here. so i downloaded this from "main download" link. Is that any problem??

mine isnt working, i get the runtime error or something and something about spygame. it crashes when i try to start it. please help?

Hi, i when i press singleplayer, it's loading (rolling mouse button and starting screen) and then i'm back at the launcher..I tried reinst.both-game and mod, but nothing has changed..Thx for reply..

The folder Kwen is talking about is found in the application data, roaming, folder on your windows drive. (type p;pdata% in your address bar to go there"
This should be enough information for you to try to fix it :P
