Download and unzip the archive. Run a "Quake.bat" file to play the initial Quake game. Run "Hipnotic.bat", "Rogue.bat", "DoP.bat", "DoM.bat",
"Honey.bat" to play the episodes.

i know this might seem trivial but the shot gun shells dropped buy the grunts have a used primer on them. it bothers me a little otherwise this mod is amazing oh and it is missing some monsters like the Rottweiler.
Good attention to detail :) I'll fix the grunt's shells in next version.
As for the dogs - the spiders replace the dogs. There are spiders only as new monsters, no any another new monsters here. Read my comments in main thread how to return the dogs.
hi i was just wandering in quake 1 first addon the proximity launcher and that ray gun doesnt show up when you use mouse wheel scroll through weapons.? any suggestions to fix would be greatly appreciated. tnx for your awesome work on the mod too. XD
And also is their a way to make dogs not invincible? TY.
The mouse wheel allows you to switch between only the standard weapons, additional weapons can be used with keyboard only. Maybe it will change in some future version. And there is no way to make the dogs not invincible. You can don't shoot them or use the spiders.

My computer has the following specifications:
QuadCore Intel Core i5-6600, 3800 MHz / RAM 16 GB DDR4 / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER (6 GB) / OS Windows 10
I set the resolution in the game according to my monitor (1920x1080), all other game parameters (anti-aliasing, etc.) to a minimum.
In the main part (Quake.bat) fps is on average 60, sometimes it goes down to 20-30. The picture is a little jerky, but overall it's pretty good.
But when I ran the other part (DoM.bat). It's almost impossible to play. When you are in the original hub - fps is on average 30, but when you enter the next hub - fps does not rise above 12. But when you play directly at the level (when you have to kill monsters) - fps is the same as in the main part - an average of 60 and sometimes drops to 25.
2) Further, not so much problems as not big minuses (for me personally, but in principle I have nothing against):
a) The font in the game. He is bad at reading. Is it possible to replace it?
b) If I understand correctly, you replaced the dogs with spiders. Can dogs be returned?

Hi. There is a problem with slowing down in "Dimensions of the Machine", but only at intro levels. There are no performance issues at all other levels. Maybe I'll fix the problem in future versions. In the meantime, you can read the ReadMe.txt how to increase the performance.
And about the dogs - I answered this question in the main thread.
Hello. Thanks for the answer! I returned the dogs, but since they are immortal, I returned the spiders back :) I also read ReadMe.txt. I changed some parameters in the cfg file, and also completely disabled everything related to "RT ..." in the settings. Now everything is great! Thanks again! :)

The models and environmental textures fit really nice. Im still playing so i can only say so much but i also have a suggestion here.
The weapon models seem to be sometimes more fitting with a fov of 90 and sometimes not. The Nailgun for example fit super good. Also looks good on higher fovs. But if i turn up the FOV to 100 for example the shotgun or super shotgun stick out way too much. In my opinion ofc.

You can adjust the sticking out of the weapons. Find a "rivarez.cfg" file (without quotes) and open it with the notepad. Then find a line
"set weapon_position_fully_adjustable_shot1_z_offset 1" (without quotes). This and next 4 lines adjust the sticking out of the corresponding weapons and you can change the values of necessary params. If you want to adjust the super shotgun add a line
"set weapon_position_fully_adjustable_shot2_z_offset N" where N is a value of sticking out the super shotgun.

This cvars(console variables) inherited from the SMC mod, I modified and used in my mod. I changed code so the muzzle effects are correctly positioned taking into account Z-axis adjustable barrel position.

Is this a Standalone Mod, or does it require original Quake assets? If the latter, I'm assuming Quake HD Edition is compatible?
It's a pity the assembly was made without Quake 1.5, there are some graphic bugs left that would be nice to fix for the ideality of this mod, but there is no one to fix them.
Dimension of the Machine is very laggy in his two first map, before to access the map to play. FPS could go down between 7/20...and I have a gamer PC config. Once I access the map to play, I obtain 60/120 fps. Why such a difference?
