After 16 years, the first new release of Pwrguns mod!
There is no other mod like Pwrguns. The Sword, Crossbow, and the Hyperblade are the premier weapons. Xaero look out, there are no bots that can stand against you, and certain death is around every corner. New weapon skins, and the Grapple and Turrets have all been re-done.
Honestly I haven't had time to try everything out. This can be considered a beta release. Not all the ALT weapons are complete. But I'll continue my work. It's very playable as far as I tested, and works great.
The only down side, is, the server doesn't seem to work. I don't know that I even messed with code that had to do with the server, so I will carefully review what I've done. Other then that, feedback and opinions are welcome. I will soon release the source code and invite anyone who would like to help finish this amazing game to help out. We could use someone to make an .md3 logo for the main menu for starters.
There does appear to be a problem starting a server. I managed to start a server through the game menu, which of course uses one map. It works though, download the mod here and connect to the server at 66.38.26.68:27962
Update... I've never tried the ioq3ded program. Perhaps a flash of inspiration, it worked. Pwrguns v4 is now running full map rotation.
