Hello everyone. Today as a surprise, I release the V2.2 Version of Project Zombie Strike, aiming for some fixes as well some improvements introduced in the gameplay.
Today as a surprise, I release the V2.2 Version of Project Zombie Strike.
This version releases as a hot-fix version to revamp and fix some issues with the modification.
Nothing much has happened, but this release is preparing for next upcoming major content additions.
I would personally like to say sorry for missing this summer, a lot of changes have occurred in my life.
Project Zombie Strike V2.2
With this update and build, I have fixed some of the issues related to lighting for maps such as Fade to Black and some Base-Mod operations. Some Zombie skins that looked weird have been properly rendered and fixed, replacing the weird "ketchup" look on them. Among the lines, small reskin for Survivor's hands have been applied. Also some of the maps have featured broken lighting which were remade and properly fixed for the final build. Fault Line and Faded Line's missing pick-up kits issues have been also fixed by the team.
One of the most important updates is the Kit Rebalance. Defibrillator's replaced the problematic Survivor Knife renowned in Alpha build as the game-breaking feature as close-quarters melee weapon. This move has crippled the Human Bots in always entering a "revive" cycle, messing up the gameplay. With this update, Defibrillators are available only for limited amount of kits, to reduce the problem related to bots using the tool to constantly revive you. Among the lines, some of the weapon icons have been refreshed, giving them a much more modern look in the menu and selection setting.

Although this patch contains mostly fixes, this will help out the next incoming versions greatly.
