This simple script of mine is capable of manipulating squads and entities a bit. You can: Duplicate the selected squad/building, capture and fortify the selected strategic point, spawn a turret, heal the selected squad/building, add leaders to the selected squads, teleport the selected squad/building, disable FOW for all strategic points, give yourself 1000 Requisition and Power.
In order to install, extract the contents of the archive into Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Soulstorm or wherever your Soulstorm.exe is located at. Now launch the game with the -dev launch option. If you don't know how to do that, launch the game by double clicking Soulstorm_dev.bat which is included in the archive and by now should be where your Soulstorm.exe is. If you do know how to launch the game with the -dev option, you can safely delete Soulstorm_dev.bat
The -dev launch option insures that your game will launch in offline mode. Without the -dev option, the script won't work.
The hotkeys:
- CTRL + F1 — Duplicates the currently selected squad/building to your cursor's position. You can duplicate only one squad/building at a time i.e. to duplicate, select only ONE squad/building.
- CTRL + F2 — Capture the currently selected strategic point. If the strategic point is already captured, a listening post will be built on it. If a listening post already exists there, it will be upgraded.
- CTRL + F3 — Spawn a space marine turret or your race's equivalent of a turret at the position of your cursor in the game world.
- CTRL + F4 — Give yourself 1000 Requisition and 1000 Power.
- SHIFT + F1 — Heal the currently selected squads/building. If the building is yet to be constructed, the construction will be finished.
- SHIFT + F2 — Add leaders to the currently selected squads.
- SHIFT + F3 — Teleport the currently selected squad/building. You can teleport only one selected squad at a time. This condition is forced because teleporting a squad/building can crash your game. Be careful.
- SHIFT + F4 — Reveal all strategic points i.e. disable the FOW around them.
This appears to work fine with Dark Crusade and Winter Assault. It can also partially work with the original game.
