Description
Finally this is version 7 of my Perfected Doom 3 modification for the Resurrection of Evil expansion. With better gameplay difficulty balancing, a new weapon combat mode system, and so many graphical enhancements from skin effects to optimized bump mapping effects Perfected Doom 3 has never been better. And now with the ability to support the ROE expansion things have gotten so much more awesome. You must have your copy of Doom 3 patched to version 1.3.1 and you must have the ROE expansion installed. This is a separate mod from the PD3v7 for standard Doom 3 so put the Perfected_ROE mod folder in this zip file into the Doom 3 folder like any other mod folder.

This is awesome! I've wanted to have a good excuse to replay RoE for a very long time and so far this is beyond perfect for me.
It's awesome just discovering how the guns work now and how much it alters the gameplay. Thank you for all your hard work! It's great!

Hell yeah it's paying off! Every damn time I pick up a gun I'm excited to press all the buttons and I love the result every time. Great stuff. I did tweak some values and textures to better fit my personal preference by now (nothing big) and I'm loving every second of it.
Also, I did say in the past that I had performance issues and I'm glad to say those are completely gone (Both in PD3 and PDRoE), I didn't upgrade the hardware, Perfected DooM runs way smoother for me now (60FPS no drops), before I couldn't get it to run at consistent 60FPS no matter how much I tweaked the config files so that's a huge plus.

Ok I don't know what's going on but I can't even start the campaign. Saying it can't find map Erebus 1
That doesn't make sense. Never had that issue. You do own ROE correct. And it's installed in a separate folder from the PD3ROE mod folder?
I have the same problem too and i did everything what the instruction say. I tried download it again but still with the same issues
okay i found the solution but its dumb also imo! You have to put all the files to ROE directory folder. Just run Roe.exe and everything works fine, thats only if the people dont mind their ROE game to be in perfected mod permanently.

Its not your fault man. It happens lol, sometimes Roe are alittle annoying when it comes running the mods. Just curious, Do you have the steam version or physical copy of doom 3 ?

the mod tells me erebus1 is missing any way to fix it?
Perfected RoE doesn't work for me every time i try to play the singleplayer it keeps telling me that erebus1 is missing

how do i disable the fall damage in perfected doom 3 roe?
i can do it easily in perfected doom 3 by changing g_disableFallDamage to 1 in the autoexec text file, but when i do the same in the autoexec text file for the roe version it doesnt work.
fall damage is kinda annoying when i loose 10 hp from falling 5 feet and i would like to disable it.
I'd also like an answer to that question... The fall damage in ROE is ridiculous...
I have redownloaded the RoE mod, and hit the same wall. Can't load the first level. I dug into the mod a bit and found the error. In the maps pk file, the only thing there are .map files, its missing the other 2 parts of the files to make them work. the .cm files and the .proc files. not sure if this was an oversite or what, but that is my conclusion thus far. Any way to remedy that other then dragging the files and permamodding my RoE installation?
I did try dumping the D3xp maps into the pak file, and it errors out as well.
The first boss which gives you the helltime ability goes down with just a few machine gun hits (maybe 10 bullets). I'm thinking this is some sort of default amount of hit points but damage should not be taken by normal weapons.
Ive installed right, and it works great for me but there are glitches in the muzzleflashes of the pistol and with the double barrel shotgun the smoke covers all your view making hard to see anything after one shot, I though this will be fixxed in the new patch but no, it still hapenning.
these are the only minor things that are keeping this mod for being perfect for the Doom3 expasion.

So I just got thru playing the PERFECTED DOOM 3 main campaign and its was great! It finally made me feel like a powerful Doomslayer in the main D3 campaign.
BUT now I'm Playing thru PD3: ROE mod expansion and there are 2 BIG problems:
- The FLASH LIGHT is not even HALF as bright as in the main campaign of PD3. Why is it so much dimmer now, especially considering that ROE is so much darker than Vanilla D3 already?
- Also, I can't DISABLE FALL DAMAGE like I did in PD3 main campaign. Is there a fix for this?
I just feel like the whole point of Perfected Doom 3 is to make the player feel more powerful and capable. But if my flashlight can't illuminate the monsters in the darkness and I'm literally losing 10HP from a 5 foot fall, then I'm kinda feeling like an under-powered survival horror character again... Any help is appreciated.
Fall damage is a pain in the *** for both PD3 and PD3 RoE. What you do is crouch before you fall, like hop up on a railing, then crouch, then walk off of it. Don't actually jump.

I've run into two major problems on my end.
1: I cannot alt-tab or unfocus the game, regardless of whether I slap it into fullscreen or not.
2: The video part of the video disks don't render, just being all black while the audio plays.
Hello great mod but i got problem with gun sounds they are just too loud. I fixed it in PD3 by lowering sounds in audacity. It worked but in DLC sound are still too looud and there no sound files in the DLC folder. Pls help

So I'm pretty much 7 years too late, but for some reason the videos you can pick up in game don't want to work. They play audio but display no video. There also seems to be an issue with the PDA refusing to close. If anybody happens to still check this page, lemme know of a fix if there is any at all.
