This is Patch 2.8 for Ran no Jidai v2.6. You must have Ran no Jidai v2.6 installed before installing the mod. Download the Patch, and launch the installer. Be sure to install the mod into "...\Rome - Total War\bi" folder.

The game will crash unless after installing you need to delete the map.rwm file in bi/shogun2/data/world/campaign/barbarian_invasion.
