I will immediately answer two possible questions:
1. The file weighs so much due to the fact that there is music from all the Hotline Miami dilogies.
I ported the music straight from the game files,
so I didn't compress or spoil the quality. This is due to the fact that
I have a good audio system and therefore I want to hear high quality sound.
2. Music from Hotline Miami is more suited to DOOM than music from Painkiller.
The dynamics, rhythm and features of the gameplay are more suited to meditation music,
as in Hotline Miami. Also, this style of music (synthwave) is not boring, unlike metal.
The thing is, in the original Painkiller, the music stopped after the player kills all the monsters in the room.
In classic DOOM, you are forced to walk through mazes. It seems to me that aggressive metal is clearly not suitable for this.

You write it's not compatible with zandronum. This kinda implies that it only works with GZDOOM. Yet you recomment LZDOOM.
Very unexpected that it doesn't run with GZDOOM in this case and unfortunate.
place the weapons before the monsters. that fixed it for me.
