A large new update is released! Many and many and many things have been changed and hundreds of other stuff is added.
One of the most notable changes are on the subject of warfare. Thanks to the OSP scripts from Motomataru we have battlefield formations and not to forget: a much better AI. Not only on the battlefield, but also during the campaign on the world map! The AI is way more active and gets involved in battle much more. The AI strategies are improved as well. Besides this Moto has applied important fixes to the scripts.
Most important changes v2.0:
- Improved colony (build manually)
- Trait system (use key V to view)
- Formations and volley fire (use numpad period, that dot)
- Improved battlefield & campagin AI
- Besides food you'll need to buy beverages which is consumed by your party as well
- Village training bug fixed
- Prison bug fixed
- Sea travel bug fixed
- Dozens of other bugs fixed
- Moved treasuries in New World and sword in Uxkhal
- Many new 17th century armour, weapons and firearms added (including pistols)
- Base morale reduced to 25
- Greatly improved overall graphics
- New Gothic font
- Added option to manually reload customisable kingdom troops

i started two games now and neither one of them wouldn't let me recruit people it kept saying they wouldn't join
I had this same issue but all you have to do is actually talk to the elder of the village and ask if anyone wants to join through him. If you do it from the village menu then no one will join you.

Ah, man I run bootcamp on my macbook and there is no way to get numlock to work TTTT

None of the updates is savegame compatible unfortunately. Unless I clearly say it is.

awesome! love the mod!! but i found some bugs when i equip my troops for example "Troop Heavy Infantry" the weapons doesn't update on the interface but on the battle they do but still uses the last weapons, another one i found when i build my castle,the icon castle it's a mounted horseman x'DDD, anyways awesome mod.
Fully unequip the troop if you want them to only wear your stuff. Otherwise they choose between your stuff and their old (unquipped) stuff.

So far so good I have also found that recruiting from villages is a large feat. But everything else is so far so good combat is great and the animations are spot on! Im sure once you guys get some honor an rep the villages will allow you to get recruits?
Game-breaking bug: No matter what kind of food I have, my party will lose 3 morale per turn becuase I "have no food"
It doesnt say no food it says no drink. there is water and beer in this game, its more realistic.

It keeps saying that I need to build more houses even though I made lots of shacks. Help!
I'm encountering a major error which is that the font doesn't load at all, rendering the game unplayable. I'm on mac btw.
Perhaps a bad install? Try installing it again. If it does not work; remove:
Warband/Modules/Nova Aetas/Data/font_data.xml/
and
Warband/Modules/Nova Aetas/Texures/font.dds/

Colony system is a bit bugged , I build 5 shacks , it shows that population capacity is 15 and when I try to populate it with colonists it is saying that ''build more houses''

IT IS JUST FCKING AWESOME but when we make a colony can u add an option to build it automatically? like i press the building to build it and it will build it on an exactly location
Just wondering, is anyone experiencing that he cant populate colony , no matter how many houses he is building ? I am just wondering if I am the only one with this kind of a bug.
yeah me too i had like 10 people in the colony and the next week they were lost and when i brought slaves and other colonists booooom no space left **** YEAH :D. dont worry the creator said he fixed it and he will release a patch.
Also I have a bug in regards of your own castle building, the icon of the castle is just a rider with a flag(not construction icon that was in previous versions) and when castle is finished the icon remains of just raider holding a banner(aka castle icon of my castle)

I just downloaded 2.0 and put it in the modules folder and everything is fine except it crashes every 15 to 20 mins after I start playing
What error? Perhaps trying to lower graphical settings would help?
Bug Report
-In colonies, colonist spawner spawns colonist alright but they dont move and spawn in the same space
-In colonies, when entering Defense section, (without any defense built) it says missing palm texture and crashes
-In colonies, your spawning land has a invisible wall you can't pass it you have to walk around it
And i must say this mod is awesome nearly the best keep up the work :)
I got a question about the colonies...it says I need to add more houses...how do I do that? are the thatched shacks those houses?
Okay I read the guide over and over again, after placing more houses down I still cant seem to get new colonists in...my first ones all died and now I cant add new ones
its a known bug , wait for hot fix
