- Map ks_mop_pita1
Increased height of trigger responsible for launching the door
blast sequence. Due to a level design error, this event would not
occur since the strider's bounding volume would not touch it.
- Map ks_mop_pita3
Added extra output to trigger relays to continue through teleport sequence.
This is used to overcome a particulars bugs where track pathers entities
would fail to reach their destinations, thus not reaching
their final destination, which are responsible for triggering
future event relays.

Have a look at this playthrough. I assume that disabling NPC speech was purposely wanted by the designer.
2 - High chance of strider killing Alyx in teleporter scene.
I downloaded the mod and played through the scene where Alyx is re-configuring the teleporter (in chapter 3). I works.
I did make a few changes to this level for this patch, which
solved a considerable amount of issues such as teleport sequence
not happening, train entities not correctly following their tracks.
As for strider killing Alyx, the only way I see this possible is due to physics error, since NPC relationship is different in this mod, which makes striders as well as other NPCs consider Alyx as ally.
It is possible that Alyx was knocked off due to strider blowing the door, which in case is due to arbitrary physics and AI.

This is a false positive. You will need to add the file to your
exclusion list (Specify the antivirus to treat this file as normal).
There's only two maps in the file ks_mop_pita1 and ks_mop_pita3. So this game's unplayable entirely without having to rework the entire mod from scratch.
You need to download version 1.0c and apply the Source SDK 2013 patch, which will should replace both ks_mop_pita1.bsp and ks_mop_pita3.bsp, along with other files.
If you have other questions, I recommend that you read readme_fix.txt which is inside the archive.

Game crashes after bald man with red spigot handle background pic. any suggestions?
I had the same issue. The following worked for me: in Steam, open properties of "Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer", go to "Betas" and select "upcoming". Wait until the update is downloaded and start the mod again. It shouldn't crash now.

Hello. I've encountered a very serious problem that I can't solve. I have no knowledge of HL2 modding. When I try to run the mod on platform MMod 1.3, the logic breaks down. Some scenes are missing, as written in the console. Although if I run a regular mod, everything works correctly. Is it possible to somehow adapt it to MMod 1.3?
