Description
This is a full release of the Middle Earth Project mod for Crusader Kings II. This update is compatible with version 2.2.1 of Crusader Kings II. NOT COMPATIBLE with latest DLC/patch 'Way of Life', you must revert to 2.2/2.2.1 in Steam game beta properties. Please delete any old installations of the mod and replace it with the 0.4.1b full version. Make sure you install in My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod to work properly. For detailed instructions check the included readme. This is a beta and there will be bugs. Nothing is set in stone and we will appreciate any input that you think might improve the mod.

i get a crash after loading scene
You may need to boot vanilla first and disable the tutorial popup by ticking 'Do not show again', then try and boot the mod
Don't really like the new update to the ruler designer, i used to have a lot of fun with making my wight character, but when i choose the traits needed for the wight my age is 2000 years old, i end up with no points at all to spend on attributes.
Our mod is not designed to be used with ruler designer, sorry
When I make a custom character and i start the games i get spammed with notifications that just clog up my screen and these no way to delete a single one is that because the mod does not work with ruler design at all or is that on my end
I have some problems in the ring campaing, the last history event after aragorn become king of gondor does not apear. Frodo event does not apear in mordor.
Will this mod work properly if i only have 3 DLC's ?
Should work, but Old Gods is recommended

So was just playing through a game, and got a notice that sauron got the one ring. And now both frodo and sauron have the trait of the one ring
many bugs and the event wont fire properly tsk........ please fix it........... :(

Every time i start up a character it crashes. What do i do to fix this?
Its because of the 2.3 update im sure, we have to wait for a new version of the mod to play

Just go to the games library on steam, and do the following:
1. right click on the game name on the left hand side and select "properties".
2. once the window pops up, go to BETA- one of the options on the top.
3. on that option window, there'll be a list of options of the beta you'd like to o.pt into- select one that allows you to play your mods, one of the older ones, and presto, you can play.

Does it work with 2.0 version of Crusader kings 2?
No, only with 2.2
im pressing download and it just does nothing it just shows a loading circle i tried other windows to please help
I right clicked the download button and selected 'Open in a new tab' and it triggered the original download page to start. May not be a universal fix but worked for me both times I tried it.
Hi, the mod crashes for me upon launching. I've disabled the tutorial in vanilla, removed the other mods from my folders (A Game of Thrones), changed my game version to 2.2.1 (tried it in a few others, too) and all attempts have resulted in crashing. Any advice and/or help will be much appreciated. The mod looks great, by the way. I appreciate that it's a beta so errors/bugs like this are inevitable.
try deleting your saves one of the might be corrupt
The blank events will not go away can some one help me? I have the steam version of the game.

How do I revert to 2.2.1 so I can actually play using the mod?
Right click on the game on your steam library ( I assume your using steam ) and select properties then go to the betas tab and select 2.2.1 out of the drop down menu
When i select a character and load it the game crashes is there a hot-fix or something to fix this

the mod keeps resetting my upgraded castle etc, does anyone know why?

I start play as Aragorn in the age of the books, and after a few seconds of play (max speed so maybe a month or two) I get a ton of notifications that have no text, and no way of closing them. They simply have Aragorn's picture.

When will it be updated for the latest patch?
I was wondering after you'd finished with extra stability/features would u add in the rest of Arda such as numenor, beleriand and the valar place across the seas with a first age bookmark with mongoth and all? I know it's far in the future but it's almost like how they did Essos in the GOT mod
Great, can't wait to play as Elrond God Emperor of Elvekind again. Hopefully the mod won't regularly crash after the first four or five centuries of play.
