New Version is Up! Here are a list of changes we have made, this is mainly a bug fixing and cleaning "update" that should decrease the amount of crashes you have!

# - Misc work on marriages & making sure chars are infertile at the right ages

# - got rid of good_side and evil_side traits and their events (handled through triggers now)
# - removed old decisions which no longer work or are no longer useful
# - fixed some map errors
# - consolidated Nazgul ring traits into 1 artifact with 9 copies, given to each Nazgul
# - conversion of some craft traits into artifacts
# - landed title cleaning and fixing
# - lots of building work:
# - is_active triggers applied to some buildings
# - issue with buildings maxed out after 10000 being fixed (in progress)
# - removed the old Startup events (not applicable)
# - removed some things from loc which was bugging it in places
# - converted the Silmarils into artifacts
# - added back missing provinces to the map

Remember to delete your gfx cache, and delete anything left of the old version before installing this one.

It's for the latest version, 2833 unless Paradox put out a recent update I'm unaware of.
it is for aligning a load of mods. some players do not update game until all mods of their list have updated too.
It also works fine for the beta 2.8.3.4
* Building patch, uploaded on 10/25, continues the fixes we have made to buildings, as well as the issue of rulers converting to their local culture, which we have fixed. Also, some Gondorian names were messed up, and this was fixed. Adjustments to fertility were made, with it being more likely of being infertile at an older age only if you have a kid or two. Removal of a former dev's artwork and graphics work as well. (will be uploaded by me once I get to the office and have decent enough internet)
So I downloaded the Mod and did everything and I still can't get it to work.

not alot of info to go on. How exactly is it not working?
It isn't loading at all. I unpacked it in the mod file as I did with the Warhammer mod. This isn't my first time I have the GoT mod, Warhammer, and Wither Kings mods as well. It shows up with all of my other mods as well. So I am not too sure why it won't start up at all.
ok so you have a middle earth folder and a middle earth.mod in C:\Users\Cody\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod ?

No idea then, that's the install method, if it doesn't show up in the launcher then there's something buggy on your end.
It does show up in the launcher it just doesn't start. It loads up the base game instead of the Mod.
Sounds like the .mod is pointing to missing files. You unzipped the downloaded file and moved the 'Middle Earth' folder to the same location as the 'Middle Earth.mod' file?
