Machine + translation with many hand edits and additional files translated.

Translation 1.0 and JC39 where merged together and used as reference while using the original Russian files and my Yandex account with many hand edits to do this translation.

Many thanks and much appreciation to everyone who has participated in translating this mod.

An additional pass was done hand translating while doing a full playthrough to the end. Ending is updated to let you know what options are available when you get there.

The mesh fix for gamedata\meshes\physics\stul\stul_1ñ.ogf is also included.

The errors starting the game after installing this mod and crashes while playing are patched along with the translation.

Also includes several other files that where generating Russian text on screen. There where several .script files and even .ltx files containing text. Now translated.

There are some lines of Russian text still coming from somewhere that I did not find. May be a script or?

This mod is a story of the first trip to the center of the Zone. Before Shadow of Chernobyl. Using old build maps.

Features to mention: (from the mod itself, not from the translation)

Limited Bag Space. Try not to overload the Backpack. It will spill out on the ground. Can be turned off in mod_options.ltx file.

Scripted auto saves. Can be turned off in mod_options.ltx file. May cause corrupted saves with it left on.

Scripted health damage in X16 Be prepared. Take a good supply of meds with you in there. Upgraded Suit, Artifacts and Good Helmet alone will not save you. But not impossible. I made it through twice.

Scripted irradiation of food. Stash food often. There is food everywhere, just remember to stash some of it. If you get irradiated you loose the food you are carrying.

Outfits such as Seva do not have escalating breathing sounds for stamina. They start out at 100% volume level. I was going to adjust the settings but the sound volume lines are missing in the script. Maybe someone knows how to add them? Save game before purchase and try it out.

Check your screen before answering no at level changers. If you get a black, white or multi colored screen after a level change going back through the level changer usually corrects this. Occasionally a change between DX10 and DX8 is needed.

This is a tough mod. As it was meant to be. But fun to play. If you are stuck don't give up. Ask, I know a few things that will help.

Install the new translation. Overwrite when asked.

This English translation can be used to patch an install of either or both of the previous translations or as a stand alone Translation.

The previous translations are not needed but this is compatible with them for ease of use.

Don't forget to change the fsgame.ltx:
