Major bugfix package. Simply overwrite the old files with the ones in this archive.
1.2 and 1.3 added a ton of fixes and AI behaviour tweaks. They're retarded but tolerable. No more spam one unit. Restart your GC for all fixes to take effect properly.

Ok, thank you. I only just started a GC which is only past 50 days, I haven't encountered any of the issues that this patch fixes yet, so I hope I can still continue that game

Is there any chance you can make some maps or put some maps in game that havent got the new planet backdrops???? They are way too much for my laptop. My laptop just about runs it, but i cant play on any of your maps, im using custom ones at the moment just to play :)
Put it this way, it takes 5/10 mins just to set up a skirmish because of the lag. Now you may say, you need a better laptop, but like i said i can play it fine once im on a normal map. It is purely the planets. If i face the camera away from a planet it works too so I know its deffo that.
Slight edit. I got fed up and started making my own maps that work fine :)

what does the batch file do?
I tried the new patch. However, I can't play the skirmish mode. It crashed when I click the skirmish mode. Am I the only one happening like this?
game really likes to crash on me whenever i load a saved game thats not a auto-save. any idea on how to fix it or addressing it in another patch?
Steam has received a patch for this specifically. I suggest you use the steam version of eaw.
I have been using the steam version
I have two recurring crash issues from save games. When loading a save from an active real time battle it crashes but not loaded a galactic map when out of combat.
Also if i save over a file instead of make a new one the over written file will crash if i attempt to load.
So religious saving during the galactic map view of a GC and not in combat and making new save files every time has prevented lost progress.

so, a bit confused on the installation of this patch. Your description says to rewrite the old files with this one. I must've done something wrong cause it doesn't seem like the patch worked. Which file specifically are you supposed to overwrite? thanks. (using Steam version btw)
Just a head's up, there's some un-buildable asteroids and turrets in the space maps.
Otherwise great job. Only qualm I have is putting concussion missile tubes on so many ships which didn't have concussion missiles, like the Dreadnaught-class, for example. I prefer to stick to what's official when possible. But otherwise great job, fun mod. Venator spam is on point.
Actually, I read somewhere that, in Legends, adding a Warhead Launcher (such as a Concussion Missile Launcher) was a common thing to modify the Dreadnought-class with...
Whats the Batch file for/what do I do with it?
Is easy mode actually easy in this mod? The game didn't seem to care if you set the game to easy or hard it just decided it was going to beat you to a pulp lol.
It is definitely a fast-paced mod, and if you don't give it your all during from the very start you'll lose. It is hard, but it is doable, on all difficulties. It's hard, but the more you learn about the ships and gc strategies you can employ the more you'll find yourself winning.
Easy on this is amazingly fun, perfectly balanced.

Your description says there are CIS units included.
Are they playable on Skirmish or I need to play the GC?
Because I found the special structures in Skirmish games but they are always ofering the Republic units, even in the Geonosis map.

Patches dont work with old saves most of the time. That's normal.
another problem I still have is after maybe 100 days in game ill save and come back to try to load that save and my game crashes and i loose all of my progress. the patch did not seem to fix this problem for the steam version
Dont save in battle and dont save when paused. It's just a normal issue with the game and nothing to do with the mod.
I did save like u asked, and still game crashes, when I try to load above 70 days GC :(

I don't know why, but the game crashes at random points through out GC. Sometimes zooming in to the planet view will do it, saving, or even just exiting a victorious battle. I get no log, or message, it just crashes to desktop. Most of the time I can reload to a previous save, however far back, but eventually the save becomes corrupted. I've only tried the 10-planet-start as of now. Another factor could be that I changed the prices of some of the ships so that I could experiment with all the new ships for fun, as well as give Byss a larger base credit value per month so that I made more money for said fun. It's a problem I had to a lesser extent (it took longer in-game to happen) in the previous version too. I hope this helps

She was useless and was removed to make room in the hero bar.
Is there a way to mod the I.A.? Or make the game harder?? When im with empire I won easily and when I’m with the rebellion I should be Affraid of the empires power but I’m not, i have never faced the executor in battle, or maybe change the costs of the ships so that the game can choose powerfull ships easier
