Description

Launch Base is a (or, more correctly, the) launching platform for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. Instead of having a separate XCC Mod Launcher (or worse, just a ZIP file) for each mod, Launch Base stores your mods within it's own directory structure. When you run the Launch Base application it will list all the available mods and details about them, allowing you to quickly browse and select a mod to play. Launch Base will then activate that mod for you, deactivating any previous mod and backing up any neccessary files automatically. Once a mod is activated Launch Base will automatically launch the game and, when the game closes, tidy up and puts things back the way they were.

If anyone is still having a problem adding mods from MODDB that are not set for Launchbase, do the following: Go to RA2/Launchbase/Mods directory
create a folder name for the mod. Place two folders in the Mod Name directory, 1) Launcher 2)Video. Copy all of your files from the *Zip or *rar directory into the VIDEO folder. You will then need to place create a file called "liblist.gam" (You can copy this from one of the MODS in the directory if you like, just be sure to change the following information:
[General]
Name= * Name of the MOD*
Author=
Version=
Date=
Description= * Either copy summary from text file or create your own.
Campaigns=
Website=
ModType=mod
ModScrnFormat=SCRNd.pcx
ModSnapFormat=Mapd.yrm
GameMode=1
MapIndex=0
AllowTX=yes

You will have to restart Launchbase in order for the MODS to show up.

Both of my MOD's are F###ed up, won't run at all.
Trying to use my own (works ok until LB gets involved), I made mine in individual files (INI/SHP/HVA/VXL/CSF).
The other MOD is the Yuri's Revenge Zero Hour MOD, again not working, but that was in XCC format.

Trash program, I have latest version of YR and it keeps saying it's not updated, so I can't install Mods. Remove this trash.
