Description

(Newest December 2012 Version) After four beta releases (1,2,2.5 and 3) the number of reported bugs had flatlined, as such I was planning to release a final version called “Release Candidate 1". Unfortunately I had a PC issue which meant I lost all my installed programs, though I still had all my backed up data. There was a lot of awkward setting up involved in creating the mod and as my interest in modding C&C games was almost non-existent at that stage I kept putting off setting everything back up. Five years later and I'm not really into modding anything anymore but I had this newer, unfinished version of ICFRA sitting around doing nothing which I thought was a bit silly. As such I've opted to rename all the "Release Candidate 1" references to "Pre-release Candidate 1" and release the mod as it is. There won't be any further versions unless there's something significantly wrong with this one. See the description for a changelist and a list of things that were never finished.

Woah. This mod got updated? That's a relief. So this is the last version, if I understood it right from the description? Oh and thanks for removing the NPatch necessity: It couldn't install.

It should be the last version yes. I just don't have the stuff setup to work on it any more or the software to do it, but I thought I should release this version anyway as it's got some pretty important fixes and refinements.

I googled the error message and it suggests you need to run the game as an administrator or with Windows 98 compatibility mode enabled. Though I also have Windows 7 x64 and haven't encountered the error even without run as admin or compatibility enabled.
