This is the newest revision of HDTP. Includes a few new textures (Soy Food, Med kit, Security Computer, Control Panel, NYPoliceBoat, etc) and fixes (MJ12 texture works now, Anna's lips move, milbot now makes sounds, etc). See the text files for a full list of changes. Bundled into an installer, which includes Chris Donhal's DX9 renderer, Kentie's DX10 renderer, Chris Donhal's OpenGL renderer, the OTP UI Interface Fix, and Kentie's Deus Ex replacement (5.2) and will install those. It will also install default settings for the renderer you select. If you install this after New Vision, you can take off on a new install of Deus Ex without seeing "First Time Run" dialogs.
Awesome work, thank you very much!
Fantastic! Can I install this on an existing playthrough (using release #2) ?
same question here
No idea whether it'll cause problems or not, since it'd just be installing on top of another version of HDTP.
But tried it myself and noticed the medkit and soyfood textures updated off an old save game, so might be worth trying with the warning that YMMV and there might be something that might end up being wrong.
Wrong reply.
Thanks to whoever moved this to the proper spot (as I don't have access to link things here when I upload, evidently). As far as the pictures go, you can go on the OTP forum link announcing this and find fuller screen versions or go into my personal images set (https://www.moddb.com/members/ggrotz/images) and find those "better" images.
You should be able to upload directly to here from now on. Where probably not going to see another version for awhile since there are no modelers left in the team but if and when it happens or if other people want to contribute they can go here:

Feedback for the installer goes here: Offtopicproductions.com
Thanks for your work by the way :)
For instance the team could use someone to animate the Bob Page model: Offtopicproductions.com
Thank you.
>Where probably not going to see another version for awhile
This is very likely, as I think as of this point there really isn't *much* of a HDTP team anymore (life and all of that). And all of us who are still half-interested are coders. Couple that with the lack of general user demand / hostility over HDTP character textures. (I notice most mod authors now are disabling them anyway and the number left, 8 total done out of about 100 or so in the game, pretty much dictates against it).
Those of us who are interested can definitely package new textures and animations. The problem is that a good number of new (and desired by the user-base) textures/animations would be required to make a good fourth release interesting.
As you may have read on the OTP Thread announcing this, I got the request for a HDTP+New Vision combo installer (both projects are pretty much at "that point") and just received permission from all the relevant parties, so I'll be uploading it sometime today to my personal list. While it's nothing "official" from either camp, you probably will know best how to classify it.
Is it compatible with Revision?
You already get these files in Revision.
Thanks!
Any way to use the old texture for the Dragon's Tooth Sword without disabling everything?
No.
Damn, that's a shame. Thanks anyway.
Kentie's launcher makes the Main Menu invisible.
Is it possible you can make a screenshot of it?
