so i installed it and everything but how do i launch the mod??
Go back to the original winRAR file, and drag the correct file out(32bit or 64). Then just click that.

you didnt include that in your read me.
yea i happen to forget to edit that part of the shortcut, edit the start in part of it just remove the (x86)or just copy and past this into the start in command line

nvr mind,i found it its on the download file.This mod is awesome,the units are very detailed but the rifle sounds are not good though.but this is truly awesome!!!!
like he said. the mod is alpha. pre beta. so their aren't projectiles yet. sounds for weapons haven't been added. many units are still missing.
this will probably be a very cool mod when he gets closer to completion.
sadly their dont seem to be any space battles yet =(

Please fix download, and SW EAW is not even a Steam game, and why do I need the Gold version to make it work? It says right click on SW EAW Gold, please make the downloads NORMAL and not so hard that no one can download it, I may just get the other Halo ones and not vote for this one if the download stays like this.
EAW/FOC is a steam game just in the gold edition and i made it as simple as possible, you either pick the 64bit version or 32bit or the steam versions it really isn't that hard and sadly i don't see how you can't understand it

Wait for a new beta version or the real thing to come out, I waited 33 minutes to download, then 20 minutes to try to crack the download code (By crack I mean trying to find out what he even means)it was just 53 minutes I wish I had back in my life.
you need to work on alot, i will name some things that are wierd, the hunters are way oversized and when they shoot it just looks retarded, the sword elites float in the air to move around. the grunts have a flee animation when there running normally same with jackals. i think there is moer but that is all i can remember. otherwise the mod is ok so far.
AIs don't do much but chill... otherwise beautiful
Shortcut is glitched, it says: The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'Halo The First Encounter (64bit).lnk refers ti us unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted ((That is it. check 2 times)) or the network resource is available, and then try again later. My computer is working fine.
