The first (and only) version of the Half-Life: Randomizer mod.
To play, put the mod folder into your half-life directory and restart steam.
There are several options to disable/enable certain randomizations. Check the advanced tab in the options menu.
Unfortunately, I can't make any updates to this as I lost all the source files. So while I welcome feedback, I won't be able to make a second version.
That's... very strange, to say the least. So an advanced functionality in a small package. And the first version is only the last.

I figured you can try but that would mean downloading an installing a whole 1 gb game for nothing :V
Well, since i already had a clean install of retail hl1, i decided to see if this mod works with that version.
Sadly it doesn't work, even with xash3d, so you will need the steam version to play this

Small bugs here and there but no big deal.
Actually the "bugs" are probably just the consequence of randomization so never mind, all good!
Expect the funny weird stuff like the guard chilling in the ceiling (https://i.imgur.com/UxPMLZt.jpg), I didn't encounter any major problem until I came to this vent (after the room filled with electric water): I.imgur.com
This Barnacle is placed so I can't avoid getting caught by it. Even if I kill it very fast, it gets me stuck within the wall of the vent and I can't go forward :(
There are probably different locations in the game where this kind of problem could happen, maybe put some exceptions on these location so that certain types of enemies can't spawn there?

why in the start i dont see headcrabs barnacle vortigants? its not fully randomized
you have to go into options -> advanced then untick "Lore Friendly"

Can anyone help me? I put the files in the Half life folder and extracted the files and restarted steam but it still didn't show up. I looked through the comments to find potential answers but nothing worked.
