Drag the contents of this archive into your Doom 3 folder. This release is a technology demonstration showcasing the ability to procedurally generate a game environment at runtime based on variable inputs, including a pathnode system that can be created and modified on the fly, and fully destructable architecture. Also included is a number of improvements to the step-based combat system, and the early version of an entirely new mouse-driven movement and control scheme. Character control is now point and click with a free-floating cursor, akin to isometric adventure/RPGs. Performance is greatly improved over our last release, thanks primarily to a level-of-detail system (which is still in its infancy). All characters, weapons, props, and models/textures are still placeholders, and do not reflect our vision for the finished game.
