Can I play it on vision 2.1 remaster?
Yes, all versions of our mod that are v1.25 or higher support both 2.0/2.1 and 2.205 of the remaster.
how can I choose installation path?
The installer should automatically detect the location of your HomeworldRM folder, and put the mod files in the right place.

Well dudes, the GOG edition aint no working, no matter where you put the files. I put all of them into the RM folder where are the bin and data folders and soo on... still nothing, you enter to the game, you see the old main menu screen and no additional races nor any new maps. Nothing works in GOG edition
What happens when you use the shortcut the installer created?
I first install the mod to HomeworldRM folder with all the Bin, data folders in it. once that is complete i use the FX_galaxy Mod icon and it comes up with can't find file and lets me browse to the .exe which is in the HomeworldRM release folder once i run that I go into the game with all text just numbers and it also doesn't run the mod at all but takes me to the normal game. I had to create my own short E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HomeworldRM.exe -mod FXG.big,english.big,English.big
Unless I run Validate integrity of game files I can not get the text back to normal, 1 file gets repaired.
Was wondering why this mod just wasn't already setup in the mods like complex is and others?
Did you put fxg.big and english.big into data folder before you use your manual shortcut? Also the command line should be ' -mod fxg.big -locale english'
Wait, you are steam user? Then why not subscribe our mod in workshop in the first place?
I went a head and deleted the game completely with mods. reinstalled the game and subscribed to your mod on the workshop. however I am now getting ????????? those are replacing all text

You've probably subscribed the Chinese version.
OMG that was it lol thanks guys
How can the asteroid resources be increased? setting resource multiplier to high only gives 3600-6300 max resource per asteroid.
Is this the normal amount? I remember in homeworld 2 classic it can go way higher.
It depends on the map. Some (FXmod) maps give fewer resources per asteroid, others (e.g. Idolum) give a lot. We are adding 5000 and 10000 RU Injection options in the next build, so you can use these if you find the asteroids on the map lacking.
Got it, thanks. This mod is awesome btw.
Back then I can't enjoy homeworld 2 classic without this mod. :D
Thanks for your kind words! It's been much of the same experience for me, actually, to the point where the project is keeping me wired to the franchise overall. We'll keep trying to meet your expectations.
