This game version 1.7 will work with Blood One Unit Whole Blood version 1.21 via DOSBox 074 in Mac Catalina and possibly other 64 bit operating systems. To start up the game in DosBox, type blood -ini fo.INI The game may quit at times due to a lack of memory, but don’t panic, in DOSBox just type in blood -ini fo.INI to restart this game. If the game won’t start and you see “can’t find fm chip” just restart the game again with blood -ini fo.INI and wait about 10 seconds. Then hit any key to start up the game. It should start up normally. For this game version, I only tried the new game level in Fleshed Out 1.7. The play was excellent until FO3M4 The Heights. After flicking the switch in the movie theater's film projector area, sharks and monks appeared below. When I fired a flair burst at them, the game suddenly conked out. I rebooted where I left off, but there was the same result. The coding read "src/db.cpp (756):Out of Free XSprites"

I also own a Mac but unfortunately I don't know of any Mac ports for Blood. They all seem to be running on Windows, unless you can partition your hard drive running windows too?

Hi Skobbejak,

Thanks for your kind reply. That’s great you like Macs too.

It seems too complicated to partition my hard drive. I unfortunately lack the skill. I’m thinking about getting the Codeweavers software company’s Crossover for Mac software.

Your new game actually works well with DOSBox. It’s just that one choke point in the movie theater where the enemies appear below the film projector room and I can’t kill them with dynamite because the game conks out suddenly.

If you add some XSprites at that point in the game, would that solve the problem to help DOSbox players be able to destroy the enemies below and then reach the next level?

All The Best,

Jono

What a great mod! I didn't experienced any issues or crashes playing it with Fresh Supply so far. Maps are lovely designed and very diversed, but what is most important - they all got that unique vibe of original game. In terms of difficulty the challenge is decent, but I think that Fleshed Out is a little bit too generous with pickups (ammo, health etc.). Anyway it's a great experience and absolute must play for every die hard Blood fan. Keep going guys, you're doing an amazing job!

I get a crash after killing Cerberus on the last map in Raze.

Most mods should be able to work with Fleshed Out. Have you contacted the Raze devs?

Just giving a heads up so you can investigate if you want. I've played all of Fleshed out on Raze, this is the only time I got a crash.

Hi,
At the level FO3M4 The Heights, after going down, the game freezes and then crashes. I am using BuildGDX 1.15 and the Windows system. I could not take the skull key and switched to the FO3M5 card only using the cheat-code. I see that many people have this problem, not only me - it looks like the card is overloaded with something...

I dont get any of these problems from my side? Have you tried the latest nblood perhaps?

I have no error log, but it looks like a crash like "Jono735 Oct 4 2020": Out of Free XSprites. I am using GDX of the latest version and am already playing on FO3M6 of your wonderful mod and therefore I see no reason to use nblood to test FO3M4 (I also have an nblood port). Perhaps the failure was only on one map and everything will be fine after that.

Well, I lost my saves cause FS likes to save on AppData for some reason... And so I made a fresh install and lost all my saves. Good thing being, I didn't noticed 1.7 back then so... Back in!

Tell me, why you focus development on this born dead obsolete mimic of blood (fresh supply)? Don't you think you should forget it and focus development only for real ports BloodGDX and especially NBlood (that already have very nice modern typer features and you can use it to highly improve addon quality)? It's just impossible to make maps for 2 different engines and gameplay mechanics. FS is big mistake and buggy mess even after all this patches, why are mappers still believe in this, i cant understand.

There are quite a bit of people that ask if it can work on Fresh Supply too. So I think it is best to have Fleshed Out work on as many ports possible so people can play it with their port of choice.

I encourage people to get GDX or nBlood for the best experience,
but if they really want to run it on FS they can have that option too

Hope this makes more sense

There seem to be decorative gates that are set to one-way right at the end of E3M1 (using GDX). The zombies and player are able to walk through it, but are trapped from getting back out. Good thing I had quicksaves =D

HELP! There is one more level in episode 3 called FO3M10: Long Winter and i can't find the way to get there, i find out that this level can be accesible using Key 7 in FO3M5:Storage but cannot find out any switched or doors to get there. Is it considered to be useless secret level? Anyone here know how to get there

There is a glowing hand print against the upper wall of the closing door you need to shoot at.

It is located inside the room with the monster spitting fireballs (FO3M5)

This will open up the green stained brick wall near the room with the big sewage pipe.

You should be able to find the secret level (FO3M10) switch there.

All the best and good luck.
