INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Battlefield 1942 v.1.61 or 1.612
- Forgotten Hope v0.7
- FH Fan Mappack 6
- FH Fan Mappack (7)
- 1.5 GB free hard drive space
BEFORE INSTALLING THIS VERSION, DELETE EXISTING MOD VERSION! TO DO IT JUST DELETE "FHR" FOLDER IN ...\Battlefield 1942\Mods\.
TO INSTALL FHR CORRECTLY, PLEASE SELECT YOUR BATTLEFIELD 1942 MAIN FOLDER!
If you run the game via BF1942.exe, 127 bots will be available in "Singleplayer" mode only!
To be able to play with 127 bots in CO-OP mode you need to launch FHR using ONLY a FHR desktop shortcut or FHR.exe, not BF1942.exe!
For more information, please read README.txt file which will be opened after installation. Also, you can always find it in ...Battlefield 1942\Mods\FHR\ folder.

But Battlefield 1942 isn't working for me anymore. After I did some **** with the profiles, it doesn't start anymore. any suggestions?

HOWEVER, I can not get the 127 bots to work. I installed everything correctly (First Forgotten Hope 0.7, then FHR .18, then Map Pack 6 and 7) and loaded up the game from the desktop shortcut. Max Bots are still only at 400% (63). I then tried loading through the FHR.exe in the main BF1942 folder, and it only loaded up the vanilla game.
How do I get the 127 bots to work??
Hello, 127 bots are available in co-op mode only. You need to press Multiplayer - Create game - select mode "co-op" and pick the map.

Thanks for your comment, however, even in the Co-op mode it doesn't seem to work. (I set the max player count to 128, but still only has 63 bots).
That means something went wrong. Are you sure you run the game via FHR.exe? What maps did you try to play with 127 bots?
I've tried probably a dozen or so maps thus far. None have 127 bots.
The FHR.exe just loads up regular BF1942.
The shortcut uses the following target path:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +game fhr
That's weird. Installer creates a shortcut to FHR.exe on the desktop: Pp.userapi.com
It doesn't even "know" that BF1942.exe or any other file exists somewhere, so I don't understand how it can be there.
Please try to uninstall FHR, install it again, then run the game via FHR.exe and activate FHR in "Custom game" button in game menu, then run Sidi Bou Zid-1943 map in co-op mode with 128 players.

Okay so idk why, but every time I try to start a game like an instant battle or creating a local server it always crashes me. Launching the game was fine until I start a game...

I want to ask, will be there more skins for Russians too? Like others for 1941 and 1945?
I'd like to add them but I don't have an opportunity to do that, unfortunately

Last version just break the game. Only few maps work while most crash in the middle also i don't understand why you had to modify base game files. I used the installer to install mod to other catalogue to be able to revert any changes if it will break the game. After i put everything in correct place only Adak island worked for me. Other maps were breaking up after leaving main base if i was able to even start the map. other modsa also broke up completely. I had to revert backed up game files and return to previous version of the mod that works. This one is completely broken.
I checked and tried to install the mod manually again. The installer add object file into FH folder. I probably instead of putting it inside main FH folder put it inside archives breaking FH completely before. I did it correctly now and it works. Sorry for miss information. :(
I've personally noticed that Holland-1944 for some reason doesn't load for me at all. Do you know what could cause this?

A very good mod indeed, really well done!
It is as playable as in the old days, and I find it it more enjoyable than the newest Battlefield games.
I even tweaked a few maps for singleplaye use for myself.
Maybe I will upload them here as well if you people are interested.

the game doesnt even launch for me. I installed it to the battlefield 1942 folder, the mappacks too. Help.

It's gonna be not a big update, but changes will be visible. Unfortunately, everything goes not exactly as planned so currently I'm not sure about release date

I don't understand do I need to download old 0.07 2006 and updated by 2012 version?
