Installation (retail/disk version)
You must have a clean install of Empire at War/Forces of Corruption.
1. ESSENTIAL: Download Imperial Civil War 2.15 (NOTE the version, *2.15*, not the newest release). You can find the download here: Moddb.com
2. Install Thrawn's Revenge into the mod folder of your Forces of Corruption installation.
3. Download Fall of the New Republic (NJO 0.5).
4. The Fall of the New Republic (NJO 0.5).RAR item you've downloaded is a compressed .RAR file. Now you need to extract the files within. To do this you need WinRAR (download for free here if you don't have it: Rarlab.com). Use WinRAR to extract the files.
5. You should now have a folder called 'Fall of the New Republic (NJO 0.5)'. Within you'll find a folder called 'Data'. Cut and paste this 'Data' folder over the 'Data' folder in the Imperial Civil War installation you made earlier. Click 'YES' when asked if you want to overwrite fileS.
6. Rename the 'Imperial_Civil_War' folder to 'NJO_FOTNR'.
7. Install the patch: Moddb.com
(Optional 8. if you'd like a desktop icon for the mod, you can use 'NJOicon' in the Data folder. If not you can launch as normal via Steam in the in-game FoC menu, or through a mod launcher if you have the disk version.)

None of this would be possible without the many modders who have shared art assets with me.
First thanks to the Thrawn's Revenge team for the incredible mod they have built over many years, on which the NJO Compilation mod is developed.
This release owes particular thanks to the Vong Invaders mod for the excellent art assets that have totally overhauled the Yuuzhan Vong faction in this release. It is a dramatic improvement in the range of their rosters and the quality of the units I can add for them.
The permission of Nomada to use Alliance mod assets has massively improved every faction's roster. A big thank you.
There are units in NJO from YVAW, ROTM, the Remake mod and z3r0x (whose old Vong models got this mod started in the first place!) Thanks to Sly442 for the Brahatok, and redtachi for the generic lander - which has enabled much more variety in the land transports. I have tried to credit every model, please let me know if I haven't credited your work!
Thank you to them all. None of this would be possible without their generosity!

This mod is a custom modification and was neither created nor is it supported by the Thrawn's Revenge team. The Thrawn's Revenge team is not responsible for any negative effects from installing these files nor can they be held responsible for fixing any issues which arise from them.

Please report any bugs here on ModDB so that I can address them. I am not currently aware of any outstanding issues.
nvm i fixt it now :D
Great! Enjoy!
How did you fix that? For all the users with the same Problem...
Did you follow the installation instructions exactly, clicking yes when asked to replace files?
Are there plans on adding the unique abilities to the various YV ships from the Vong Invaders Mod? They had some very cool abilities that I think would be a fantastic addition to the mod to flesh out the unique qualities of their ships!
I’m going to add Grutchins and a dedicated Vong bomber to deploy them, but as it’s a submod for ICW (which doesn’t use exotic special abilities) I don’t want to unbalance things by giving the Vong loads. They have their core unique abilities now (the dovin basal defence ability, dovin basal shield leech and dovin basal interdiction).
when are u gonna fix the problems ?
I’ve just installed it on my other PC and there are no problems as you describe. I attacked Tangrene as the CSA on space and land and had no issue. Did you see my message to you?
How do I fix the issue with the green units in space? I copied the shaders to the Art folder in the original corruption folders, and then deleted the old, but they still have the green color.
What version of FOC are you using? You should just have to copy the shaders into the mod’s folder (along with everything else in ‘Data’. For this version you shouldn’t need to alter FOC’s original install directory files
Its the steam version, so I assume the most recent one.
Wait, do you mean that I copy all of the shaders from the original FOC into the mod or the other way around?
You just need to copy the entire data folder from NJO over the data folder from the Imperial Civil War 2.15 install you make at the first step of the installation
Yep I did that, I even reinstalled the whole mod, but the green textures are still all there for things like the ISDs. It isn't all of the units, just some of the imperial ones and late game New Republic capital ships
I figured it out, I had to move textures over to the base game's Art folder instead of shaders.
I'm having the same problem. Any tips? The shaders folder has three empty folders in it, is that the problem?
Fixed it, but I still have a problem with the Suuv Ban D'krid, or whatever the light cruiser analogue was called. It takes about 3-4 minutes for two mediators and their fighters to destroy one. It takes decent damage during the initial volley, and after that barely any. I'd get it if it's a dovin basal skill, but if it is, the effect should end at some point.
Thanks for the feedback. I think I will release a balancing patch with the dovin basals to make it less effective. The ships were too weak, now I think they may be too strong.
Will this be uploaded to the steam workshop anytime soon!?! :D
Yes!
Awesome! I had no trouble getting it to work the standard way but it will be nice to have the steam workshop upload for easy updating and ease of use! :)
For balancing reasons I think the CSA needs something to fill the role between VSDs and Praetors. Maybes Providences from the CIS or perhaps refitted ISDs or Venators?
This is a deliberate choice as they have three cheap battlecruisers to choose from instead, all at about the 9000 credits mark - only about 1500 credits more than the average price of a Star Destroyer. I don't think Venators or Providences would fill the gap, both are in the same broad category as the VSD in strength. They do have an ISD hero though.
That's fair about the Battlecruisers but it's still tough to not have a ship filling that middle ground, maybe old ISD1s with some slight upgrades or just standard ISD2s to help fill the gap in ship type? Another thing I noticed which makes the Imperial Remnant Campaign extremely tough is that the NR's Guardian SSD has invulnerable "Rocket Launcher" hard-points. I was able to take down every single hard-point except those 2 on the front which stay at 100%, this has happened in both battles that I've faced her in.
Thanks for letting me know. Will look into it! That shouldn’t be happening.
So how will future versions of this mod work, will we have to keep altering the ICW 2.15 all the time or do you plan to make your mod stand alone at a future point?
A Skirmish mode in Single Player would be great! Otherwise, looks good so far! Thanks for the efforts!
How do I install and download this again, I really want to try out this mod!
Read the instructions...
no gog version?
all updates on steam?
I'm on the floor crying
