Europe At War v6.1.6 - Wellcome to afrika. In July 1942 Egypt was in the first battle of the alemein, where they fought the Axis forces, commanded by Erwin Rommel, and Allied forces commanded by Claude Auchinleck. The battle stopped the second (and last) progress made by the Axis forces at El Alamein, Egypt, located about 106 kilometers from Alexandria. El Alamein was a small railway station on the coast. About 35 km south is the crest Ruweisat, low and gravelly, which, however, provided excellent observation posts surrounding desert.
This version includes many improvements to what is known so far, and innovations like the possibility of fighting in africa in command of the Afrika Korps and Desert Rats.

Well, 1.06 GB? Are you sure? Is this a complete pack or is it really just the patch?
Because it is also available via Desura but you can't patch it or anything.
So can you help me and tell if if this is:
1. just the patch?
2. available via Desura?
3. if it is not, will it come as a patch on Desura or do I have to download this?
Patch was made available on Desura on July 19. Desura downloads are separate from ModDB ones.
yeah i uninstalled 6.1.4 due to problems with trying to get 6.1.6. and i when i inatalled the one here, it doesn't show up on desura and theres no launcher for the game, so theres no way i can play it. is this a patch because it says in the download its the full version
Desura update was uploaded & authorised on July 19.
To launch EaW you just need to make a shortcut of RelicCOH.exe then right click it, select properties and add in the target field at the end:

Works almost fine here. I had installed 6.1.5. on my pc,I have deleted all it files and installed 6.1.6 but it didn't worked (all files were in companyofheroesfolder/company of heroes.I cmoved them from that sub folder to copanyofheroesfolder and it didn't worked. So i have deleted all the EAW files, and installed once more. Somehow the installer didn't put files to subfolder but straiht to companyofheroesfolder.
I downoaded it via mirrors. Launched one new map (canyon or something) but no matters which nation i selecet i played as britts. Dunno why.
africa maps only play with British or Wehrmacht

the map must be in sgb, and the scar must add an upgrade that unlocks africa units.
-the scar also should play only with axis and British

Uh the download/installer just opened up a setup window with a link to youtube and isn't actually installing the mod or anything. A little help would be nice.

Downloaded the mod, keen to play, but with no definitive step by step process to the install in , like i dont know " a read me" , i have copies of exe's everywhere, I cant change any of the executables to the "-mod Europe_At_War", wont allow me too, simply cant change them in properties ?????? . So i have found one or two I can, but they dont work with the added "bit" on the end either.....If i could get some help plz that would be grand
