Small patch for Standalone Version. See description below to know what's new.
This patch is for optional installaton. It brings some gameplay changes to make the game more atmospherical and hordes migration paths more historical.
Full list of changes is:
- New religion: Arianism (to enforce contradictions between Romans and Barbarians).
- Roman ethnic traits added (Illyrians, Italians, Gallo-Romans etc) to have more dfferent and interesting characters.
- Visigoths start as a horde. Dacia held by Ostrogoths.
- Visigoths human player faces strong East Roman army in Thrace (enjoy Hadrianople battle).
- West Romans human player faces stronger Alemanni (a chance to discover Gratianus' commander talents).
- Valentinianus and Ermaneric are dead (historically correct for 375).
- Main menu soundtrack: "Destruction of Rome" by Aelfric (Gothic language song).
Installation: extract files from archive and put-and-replace Fall_Of_Rome folder to your RTW main directory where Fall Of Rome mod already installed (modfoldered version!) Start the mod and make sure the changes from the list above appeared.
