Hi, have you actually put the mod in the game's folder? The DoomBFA.exe must be in the same folder the Doom3BFG.exe is
I can select the ultra wide resolution 3440:1440 but there is no option for 120/144 or 165hz, so the gameplay is very choppy. In the original doom 3 bfg I can select 120hz and the game feels very smooth.
Are you sure? The FPS setting must have both the original 60 and 120 plus any refresh rate your monitors can support
Thx for the fast response.
Yes I’m sure. It’s a very strange problem, because I have the normal resolution and the 120hz option for all other/lower resolutions but for 3440:1440 I only have the standard option, no 120hz option. If I switch to the modless normal doom 3 bfg version i do get the option for 3440:1440 120hz. It’s strange indeed.
Have you try to set the FPS Option to 120?
Got it solved.
I had to uninstall and reinstall Doom 3 BFG Edition. Then I configured all the settings in the standard BFG Edition, graphics etc. and the resolution 3440:1440 165Hz. I then launched Doom 3 BFA Edition and voila, there are the correct resolutions with the proper refresh rates.
