This is the first part of Doom 3: Rivarez Edition archive. You must download all two parts into the one folder to unpack the archive. Then unpack the first part, this will automatically unpack all two parts. Click "Read more..." and read the details.
- Download and unpack the archive;
- Make sure you have 1.3.1 game version (not BFG Edition);
- Copy the "base", "d3xp" and "d3le" folders from this archive to your game folder (in which "doom3.exe" executable placed);
- Make sure the zzzzRivarez*.pk4 files in your target "base", "d3xp" and "d3le" folders are placed at the end of files list sorted by alphabetically order. Otherwise the mod will not work properly;
- Run "Doom3.exe", "Resurrection of Evil.bat" or "The Lost Mission.bat" to run the corresponded game;
Notes:
- If you want to set the game brighter or darker, use the brightness adjustment of your monitor or use an "Ambient light power" option in advanced graphic settings.
Do not change the brightness in game menu and do not change the concole variables like "r_brightness", "r_gamma" etc. It will cause the visible artifacts and/or declining the picture quality;
- If you have 7.1 surround sound headphones or 7.1 speakers go to audio settings of your sound card and set 5.1 sound format. Then you can enable 5.1 surround sound in game sound settings;
- If you have graphics problems with your AMD graphic card try one of the following:
- rename the executable doom3.exe file to doom_3.exe;
- go to the game advanced graphic setting and set to "No" the "Distortion effects" and "Camera effects" options.

- There are many HD Textures in mod, but many of textures was still original at low resolution. This textures was enlarging four times with Topaz A.I. Gigapixel / Topaz Sharpen AI neural network. Besides of this some new HD Textures was created manually and some existings HD Textures was fixed and improved;
- Reworked a game dll. Many things are made better now;
- Reduced max ammo count for some weapons (too many ammo in V1.0);
- Reduced plasma-gun damage (too high damage in V1.0) and it's impulse;
- Reduced damage of rocket launcher and handgrenade (too high damage in V1.0);
- Increased muzzle smoke for weapons (there is almost no smoke in V1.0). A color and direction of smoke is light gray and out of barrel like in real weapons, not black and flying up(like from cigarette) as in vanilla;
- New player equipment added: hermetic suit. It replaced the night vision and can be can be worn and removed at any time and any place by pressing the key (binded in game menu). The air canisters can be used only with hermetic suit on. Only with hermetic suit on and a sufficient air supply player can walk on Mars surface without damaging. Removed the restriction of maximum amount of oxygen is limited to 100 when picking up air canisters. Now when picking up the oxygen supply is increased by 100. Besides of this the hermetic suit protects the player against toxic gas. Now a toxic exhausts from vents takes damage to player(not only coughing takes as in vanilla). But in hermetic suit the player takes no damage and no coughing;
- For RoE and Lost Mission added to game menu the key binding for the shoulder torch;
- Fixed problem in RoE when crosshair does not turned to hand icon when aiming on object player can take;
- Included a Lost Mission with all the benefits of Rivarez Edition (reworked Sikkmod, ambient lighting, HD Textures, hermetic suit, ejecting the brasses from left to right etc);
- In Lost Mission:
- Improved plasma effects in Enpro Sector 2 level when player throws the plasma with a Grabber;
- The flaming zombies in Hell level replaced with a boney zombies with two different skins (because the boney zombies look better in hell);
- Slower boat speed in Hell level.
- Many minor changes (like tweaked some sounds etc).
Пожалуй, лучший графический мод для Дум 3! Именно последняя, обновленная версия. В ранних были кое-какие огрехи и недочеты, но последняя - шедевр. Даже и не знаю что еще можно улучшить, ибо "сверкает" буквально всё и вся. Автору огромное спасибо за его труд!

А есть возможность как-то вернуть дефолтные механики, а то меня бесят все эти подбрасывания при появлении монстров и отбрасывания от выстрелов в конец комнаты, а отжирание жизни вместо кислорода на поверхности Марса так и вовсе делают игру непроходимой? Или у меня баг?
При выходе на поверхность Марса нужно одевать гермокостюм. В настройках можно назначить клавишу для этого.
самый идеальный дум 3 в который я играл сразу видно руку мастера спасибо за этот мод продолжай в том же духе
