This new update added more content as well as reconfigured some existing contents. Hence it is not compatible with any of your previously saved campaigns. I'm afraid you will have to start a new campaign.
Pls help.
Dlc campaign works fine but I get a crash when I start normal campaign after applying this update??

Did you manage to solve the problem?
I skipped this dlc in the instalation process, installed everything else. Only after I did it, I realised it adds or fixes some stuff as well.
It somehow restarted to americas campaign instead of the mod.
Forget it, I just forgot to make the folder settings.
How can I play this DLC? I'm very confused!

Then follow the installation instructions:
1) Navigate to your M2TW mod folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Medieval 2 Total War\mods)
2) Rename americas folder to something like americas_ORIGINAL
3) Extract SOE Part 1 to the destination M2TW mod folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Medieval 2 Total War\mods). Let your file archiver (WinRar, 7-Zip...) do the rest of extracting SOE Part 2-7.
4) When finished, extract SOE Patch 1A to the destination M2TW mod folder in exactly the same steps as before. OVERWRITE any existing files if prompted
5) When finished, extract DLC Xinhai Revolution to the destination M2TW mod folder in exactly the same steps as before. Again OVERWRITE any existing files if prompted.
6) Installation complete! Launch M2TW Kingdoms Americas campaign as usual and the game will auto-switch to SOE campaign.

I get a crash despite installing the mod exactly how it is supposed to be. I even deleted the files mentioned but it still doesn't work Help please?
