My older hotfixes did not work, so I just removed a feature completely
For some reason my guildhouse building script was not working as it should, I tried in several different ways but it crashed the game constantly, so I just scrapped it completely.
And now there should be NO crashes.
Installation:
Copy the file to divide_and_conquer/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign
and overwrite the campaign_script
Hello i have Installed this mod 2 times but when i start with the icon the start image is for 5 seconds and then crash with the new hotfix is the same. maybe i dont need to install first the original mod is your mod a standalone?

My mod is standalone, the folder "divide_and_conquer" should be copied to the mods folder, and then you run the game from m2tweop.exe in the "divide_and_conquer" folder
Should work without crashing, as Ligizd has managed to start it on his channel for those 1-2 episodes

Don't know why but as me playing for my first battle, as the battle is going to end, the game crashed; I'm playing as the mirkwood elves attacking the province on south.
And it seems like when the enemy "general" is died, the game crashes (though the enemy general is the unit captain, not the real general).
That is a DAC bug, happens when a battle ends and a batallion has a low number of units left (1/2 units)
Been asking for a fix for ages now, and even tried fixing it myself..but nobody knows.

It seems like, idk, as I've played original DAC these days, this have never occurred to me, maybe is the file that I downloaded bugged? I'm going to try it again as original DAC are too difficult and too easy in the same time...
I know what you mean. The original DAC is a great experience, had fun with it for years personally..but sometimes it felt too grindy and too AI friendly.
I just changed the game up, have fun :)
