This is the first version to be posted here, but far from the first version we've developed. Check the addons for a dark UI version. Below is a partial changelog, although we haven't been documenting quite a few of our changes, around 60% is there.
changelog (i ctrl+c'd ctrl+v'd so the text broke. there is a changelog included in the files) 1.1 Removed the starting Turk-Tripoli war, because it resulted in the AI marching through the desert and lowering their max brigade count by 30. The turks are now much stronger, at least until they march through the desert and lower their max brigade count by 30 when fighting egypt The AI US now ships the afro-americans back to africa 40% of the games, and the CSA always does it if they happen to abolish slavery (50% chance of happening if they survive past the 1890's, or they fall to rebels that abolish slavery) This will result in around 45% of the blacks being shipped back if the US does it and around 70% being shipped back if the CSA does it Rio Grande do Sul no longer beats brazil 80% of the time. They now win something like 25% of the time Buffed the starting egyptian generals a bit to cope with the stronger ottomans. Also buffed the ottoman general Von Moltke and gave him some prestige, so that they actually use him changed some tech priorities, which will mainly affect countries which start with not only terrible literacy but also terrible tech like the sudacas, the balkan minors and the ottomans made ai more likely to use NF on soldiers and clergymen. overall, high lit nations should do better now. nerfed the serfdom mobilization size boost a little bit, and gave it a bonus to supression points a small state change to the ottomans (save game compatible) fixed mexico not losing cores on colorado if they gave up peacefully peasant's reform is a bit harder to get now CSA cores can now spread to cuba if the US took it with the ostend manifesto reduced event spam even further made the atlantic slave trade give less consciousness and a bit less infamy (before, it made you get infamy while at war) vassal nations will now pretty much always be at 0 prestige, meaning that it's very rare for them to break free peacefully. this is because they now lose 1 prestige per month while a vassal ai germany now takes the partition decisions for the sudetes, french-comte and wallonia, and uses them correctly. middle easterners such as syria now also petition for annexation when the scramble for africa starts made the ai want to stay in wars a bit longer if they started recently, so that they peace out less often just because they lost a few bad battles and got their battle warscore wrecked reduced event spam even further german minors, other than switzerland, now lose 0.1 prestige per month as long as they are ai controlled. this is to reduce the chance of GP bavarias 1.09 ai russia now colonize semireche sooner sardinia-piedmont will take the treaty of plombieres decision more often, and will also be stronger during the italian war of independence technology changes to make ai sardinia-piedmont prioritize nationalism & imperialism more, and to make france and the UK prioritize steam turbines more The CSA is a bit buffed some minor changes to the enslave minorities and enlist coloured troops decision france gets a longer lasting CB if the turks refuse to grant them authority of the holy land ai will resist reforms a little more anti-military ais won't use the take capital cb ai csa won't abolish slavery anymore, unless it's via rebels that break their country added a great war version of the install government cbs that cost less warscore and infamy. ai now can't add the cut down to size CB during a great war (since it's included already by default in the capitulation) to get a lord admiral you now need a navy baltic states decision fixed sudaca changes nobody cares about. not even me really reduced event spam of things such as events about getting wine or pops exploding, apache raiders, pizza or pasta and such. changed ai priority on NF a bit 1.0.8 War exhaustion now gives you up to +0.04 consciousness. Please disable the triggered modifier notifications or you'll get spammed Iberian, German and Dutch state changes. Delete your map cache before running this patch The great meme war over the french lesser antilles has been fixed To make austria-hungary stop being austria-hungary it is no longer enough to just make hungary own a tiny core province in transylvania. They now need to own budapest. Countries that start with craftsmen now also start with a factory You can now no longer take the decision to close borders if your borders have already been closed Healthcare reforms have been completely removed Take capital CB added. Italy now has the option to give up their cores on Savoy if they're a SP and France btfo'd them. They can regain it later with their second irredentism decision. The subsidies decision are now more ergonomic The ai prioritizes better techs The ai gets tax efficiency penalties if they have a massive treasury (only affects Germany and the UK in my test games) Argentina and the sudacas in general have small immigration booms that last for 2-3 years when they get their event to turn into a liberal republic. Argentina has this stronger than others British dominions (australia, new zealand, south africa, rhodesia, canada and others) get small immigration booms that last for a few years when they get released as vassals. Pops in Europe now also migrate to other countries that have them as their primary culture if they're in Europe, Africa or Asia. So if, for example you're the UK and you make an British primary culture colony in africa, release them, and they are a liberal republic, a few of your emigrating primary culture pops will migrate there. This also applies to italians leaving milan and going to sardinia, romanians leaving austria and going to romania, etc. It's now easier for russia to abolish serfdom Japan can now annex korea even if they're uncivilized for gameplay reasons France now gets a free school reform in 1880 to represent how they historically instituted public education at that time, and to encourage the AI to take french language schooling The CSA homestead act now also applies the correct modifiers to provinces Brazil no longer enslaves the free before the 1900's because they loved negros Japanese decisions now have specific dates in which they can be taken, reflecting when they were done historically, so that the AI (and new players) properly receive the research point buffs Absolute monarchies can no longer get the great reformer PM Some fixes to anarcho-liberals The communist decision to get rid of the upper class now has a much shorter MTTH Added a strait crossing to the channel isles because sometimes the UK got hundreds of thousands of troops stuck there Made the irredentism decisions have lower prestige requirements to take Very slightly nerfed colonial migration Slightly more war exhaustion from battles There is now a -0.1 to war exhaustion while at war, so that a country which is not suffering at all during the war can recover partially Nerfed some events that made you jump ahead several social reforms. They now just give you the social reform that is one above what you currently have. Changed the requirements for some events that need you to have healthcare to fire Enforcing government on a country gives you even more influence. Before, if the country was hostile towards you it sometimes resulted in you not sphering them. Alexander's education reform no longer gives a massive +0.07 consciousness and instead gives a more manageable +0.04 Losing the crimean war makes the russian pops want reforms a bit more The German Confederation no longer gets cores on alsace-lorraine when it forms, but it can gets cores there if it happens to take it. There is now only a 33% discount if a vassal researches a tech the overlord already has, as opposed to the 50% it was previously Some bug fixes Other changes i forgot 1.0.7 fixed a crimean war event removed pop growth bonuses from healthcare reforms and added a pop growth bonus to inorganic chemistry crises unlock with revolution&counterrevolution making portugal a vassal in order to create iberia is not necessary anymore austria doesnt need prussian land beyond the borders of the german confederation to form the german confederation moved deutsch krone from pomerania to west prussia - delete your map cache when you update to this version fixed kongo decision some other small fixes 1.0.6 german states rework v3 included border policy events fixed meiji constitution abolishes serfdom for japan the april laws event abolishes serfdom for hungary and austria decreased the amount of provinces russia needs to occupy to win the crimean war from 60% to 38% removed the experimental psychology requirement from austria's decision to accept czechs 1.0.5 slavery minimod r10 included disabled factory subsidising for economy policies other than planned economy (the player can still subsidise factories as usual if desired) this is to help the ai financially and industrially and to make it less tedious to manage your industry if you dont subsidise any factories (it disables auto-subsidising of new built factories) (experimental) russia can integrate finland adjusted ai weights for colonising, soldier pops, educator pops a little some small fixes and other small changes i cant remember right now 1.0.4 the ui in the political tabs has been fixed and is clean now bankruptcy reform fixed the close/open borders decision has been changed to work with the hpm reforms instead of a seperate modifier reverted the integration policy to be a player-only decision again made it possible for any country to reinstate slave trade that fulfills the requirements except for egypt and the usa ai prioritizes better techs added decisions and events for deporting and replacing the turk population in thrace for russia and balkan countries many issues fixed 1.0.3 implemented the leader system from victoria universalis (experimental) turks will call their allies in the romanian independence war now added decisions and events for replacing the manchu population in outer manchuria for russia and japan fixed some issues 1.0.2 if krakow is a player, austria takes the diplomatic option in the krakow uprising. 1.0.1 if russia wins the crimean war, bulgaria doesnt get north macedonia anymore. the uk is now only forced to defend the turks in the crimean war if its the ai. if uk is a player, the player can choose. and i added decisions&events related to the baltic governorate from hpm. 1.0.0 improved crimean war: russia doesnt white peace as soon as possible anymore. now the crimean war is an actual war with both sides having a chance to win but russia loses most of the time. added all reforms from hpm except for conscription reforms (the ai doesnt use them properly and hurts itself with conscription reforms[its an hpm flaw]). added baltic governorate several blood&iron issues fixed.
