Another year of refinements and improvements. Caveman2Cosmos for 2023. Some more UI and AI improvements as well as some building refinements. Unit sightline and culture growth and decay revisions. The AI isn't perfect yet, but gaining intelligence rapidly and should be very difficult to play against now.
Caveman2Cosmos is the most expansive mod for Civilization IV. It stretches the game from the early prehistoric all the way to the conclusion of Humanity's journey through technology and revolution. Start from the true beginnings of Homo Sapient and end in the farthest future imaginable. Every era has been more intensely detailed and the game rules themselves are pushing the boundaries of the original Civ IV game engine to all kinds of new frontiers. This is a true 'what if' mod that explores the potentials of alternative histories and futures that could have been and yet could be. Warning: Highly Addictive.

You don't - just click on other tabs like buildings
Advisor recommended only units, no buildings, why?

v42 had a clever and challenging AI, but the game crashed in my pc with no solution. I cant wait to play this new version!
If enable graphics paging is clicked off, units disappear after moving and will not reveal goody huts etc. terrain features unless ctrl shift t recalc.
Also mercy rule didn't work in V42. Hope it is fixed in this one.
Played to early medieval now. AI feels better, can defend against culture well but still very lost when it should wage war. IDW is very good now, really hope it stays this way.
Only real problem are pesky CTDs. Had two recurring ones already, first right in the start of the game and 3-4 one timers. Major issue.

Great farmer is broken in V43 RC4. Can't build anything with it.

You can't build on top of resources, otherwise you should place anything that you import or own.

Getting cultural riots in cities that last hundreds and thousands of turns in newest versions both download and svn versions. Completely broken mod, unplayable.

Never owerwrite files, delete mod completely and install it
there is a bug in this version.
randomly i get the message "... has stopped functioning, regain access to resource..." for no reason.
The first time it happened, i looked all over the map but couldn't find the problem. When i end turn it fixes itself but every few turns i get the same problem

Is worker automation and production automation more customizable now or does it still need to all be done manually. Especially production I want to have it so my cities auto build production food then science buildings as their priority
