This version of Brutal Doom Classic overhauls the bloodsplash effect. It still works basically the same as v18, but the logic is completely different. Read the changelog for more information. Load after BDv21
v17:
- overhauled blood splash. It no longer relys on painstates. Works even when god mode is activated. Every bug realted to the previous blood splash is therefore fixed.
- fixed a bug where red blood would splash onto the screen when cutting up a dead cacodemon with the chainsaw
- disabled blood decals from blood splashing
- cacodemon can no longer be killed by one shot from the ssg. Requires 2 shots
All is swell, but did you really have to change the firing sound of the rifle? Sounds real wrong.
How? It doesn't really sound all that different to me. Do you want it to sound more like BDv21 rifle, or BDv18 rifle?

Did you run it with Brutal Doom Version 21? And if your using Zandronum, are you using the compatible addon? Please read the descriptions
