1 - Remove any previous Bellum Imperii versions from your module folder!

Current still unsolved issues. To be done whenever the issue is found, or in the next patch.
- Some banners still overlapping
- Some banners overlap slightly to the left or right.
- Formations for infantry still don't work.
- Some scenes might be bugged
- Troops/factions might still be inbalanced. I'm trying with every update to balance it out further to at (hopefully) some point where it will all be balanced out perfectly.
This however will take some time, so please bare with me and stay patienced!
Note - The scene of Syracuse that was previewed on Moddb got bugged during the development and had to be taken out.
Hopefully I'll be able to repair the scene for the next patch. Otherwise I'll have to re-do it completely.
Note - Although I'm very gratefull to all of your who have reported the bugs they encountered and the suggestions that have been given.
I would have to say that it can be possible that I've forgot about a couple of them. Therefore please refer to the new forum for bug reports
so it's easier for me to know about them, so I can fix them. Same with suggestions!

the naval battles in this mod... do they actually involve ramming as it was common in the period?
Naval battles hasn't been worked on at all yet. So yeah, it's assumed to be rather odd. Especially considering it's a bunch of viking boats.
You are using the vikings conquest naval battles? If dont, there is a way to get free job :)

Sorry man, that's the downside of major patches.
You can always try to import your character from your last savegame.
or just give yourself a little boost on this little thing called "cheat menu" it can repair a lot off what you lost.
Will you develop a similar mod for Bannerlord? Bellum Imperii would be marvelous to see in Bannerlord :)
That will all depend on the resources that will be available, how the modding will be like and how much time I have for it.
It will take less time than making him from nothing, you already know what to do, and can the mod be SEMI-compatible with bannerlord(Semi because you will can import some models/scripts from warband and make this part done, or use the base of the asset)
This is what mods do, they have already the game done, but "create another game inside him"

Made a Playlist that I use just for Dark Ages games. Centered more around Pagan players with an heavy influence of it in the music from Vikings, game of thrones and many other related soundtrack. Hey man, the mod looks super I saw videos on Youtube and really wanted to get it after. I just have a problem. I downloaded the game on Mac used RAR to open it then after it opened into a file I put it in modules and everything seemed to go great. The game loaded fine and when I got to the home page of the mod, I clicked on start game it told me this..

Hey man, glad you liked what you've seen so far. I'm sorry that you've encountered some difficulties with getting it to work.
Here are some possible solutions to your problem.
- Enable 'Load textures on Demand' on the startup config
- Re-download
- Verify the integrity of Warband on steam.

I didn't get Mount and Blade Warband on Steam. What you mean by "verify the inegrity of Warband on steam." The first two things did not work. I tried installing previous version but I get still same "RGL ERROR Unable to open Modules\Bellum_Imperii\troops.txt" I not understand what the problem is. Anything else I can do?
That's odd. What is the file size of the mod for you?
The mod is the correct size I checked that already. I'm not sure what else to do. Does this mod have Thrace as a faction?

Ah... Well the mod is for 1.168 so updating your game wouldn't be a bad idea. :P
Oh, it won't work for 1.58? I have tried updating it but am not sure how. Do I have to put keys in and will I loose game progress on other mods?

There you can download it. Can't say if you lose the progress on other mods. The savegames would obviously still be there. However I'm not sure how the other mods respond to the newer version.
First make a backup of your modules version.
1.Download the newer version
2.Add it to the location of the game folder
3.Move your backup inside the new game folder
4.Run the game
Your save games are saved on the "Documents" folder or in the mod data folder, then make a backup of both and it may be safe

It appears that I encounter the same old problem with this mod,couldn't get past character creation in previous versions and now can't get past selecting starting zone.
Game freezes and I have to re log on my pc (and yes it is a proper gaming pc and not a potato)
Shame because is the only mod that has Dacian faction playable. :(

Is there somewhere I can read about the Culture mechanics in this mod? I'm really enjoying it so far but I'm having trouble understanding it. I wanted to create a Barbarian slave that eventually conquered Rome but every town/village I've gone to has Roman culture and despises my Barbarian culture which from what I understand makes serfs less likely to join me, even when I'm in places far away from the Romans. Is this normal?
The 'cultural' system replaced the 'religion' system not that long ago in terms of updates. It's still somewhat un-accurate. Like as you say. It's being worked on though. Appologies for the troubles!

The custom battles are pretty bugged and haven't been worked on. It hasn't really been a priority.

32-bit systems tend to have a max ram useage mate by downgrading to 32 bit you likely capped your ram to make the game unable to run. Not sure if this will be any help.
