This is a hotfix that I've created to hopefully help smooth out any frame rate issues that some people may have using reconfigured scripts and some outside of the box tricks. There is a slaughter map episode in the works that I plan on implementing in BEC and I'm trying to further squeeze as much as I can out of FS to hopefully make the mod even more compatible with various PC specs.
YOU MUST HAVE BEC VERSION 1.1 INSTALLED TO USE THIS HOTFIX.
INSTALLATION:
1. Uninstall the mod using the "UNINSTALL_BEC.batch" file in the "BEC_1.1" folder.
2. Unzip the "BloodEX.KPF" file to the "BEC_1.1" folder.
3. Overwrite when asked.
4. Install the mod using the "INSTALL_BEC.batch" file in the "BEC_1.1" folder.
5. Start Blood Fresh Supply.
As stated, this will hopefully make things run even better for users so that BEC can be ready to go for the upcoming new episode. I have played through 2 of these new slaughter maps so far and before using this patch I was completely unable to play either of them from the start. They were choppy and unplayable due to the excessive number of enemies, their large map size, and the large number of inanimate actors used to decorate the maps. But now I can play through both of the maps with some very smooth frame rates. So BEC is much more optimized, and the vanilla campaign should also benefit for anybody that has had issues with it. Feedback is needed so let me know if this helps. or makes things worse.
first level now runs nearly perfect but the second level still runs badly

That 6 GB of ram and that AMD GPU are most likely the issue but I have a beta tester that has AMD hardware and he’s playing with great frame rates now. So I’m not sure what the issue is for u. Hopefully more people will give feedback so I can gather more data. Thanks for the feedback.
When it comes to running the install you never said the file location or where to put the folder inside the blood folder itself

Played Episode One and some of Death Wish.
Normal Game:
Things generally work well, definitely more stable than before, but the second level stutters as well as Dark Carnival and the secret level, E1M8 "House of Horrors", along with occasional odd dips in E1M5 Hallowed Grounds.
I would like to note that, while not as bad as before, E1M2 is still a noticeably laggy mess at times. I have no idea why that level is so bad.
HOWEVER, in an interesting improvement, there was only 1 hitch in E1M6, and never had a problem again. Before this update, there were WAY more constant and annoying stutters, but still playable.
Death Wish, again, pretty well and more stable than when I tried it before but one of the secret levels, called Spooky World, lags like HELL, averaging around 5 FPS.A lot of maps in Death Wish have tons of enemies. Spooky world in particular. Could be a good testing ground, perhaps.
Hey buddy thank u for the great feedback. Are these drops in frame rate occurring while you’re just walking around or when combat is happening?
Both, more commonly (at least in the past, not so much now) more of a consistent lower framerate in a level BUT also occasionally dipping during heavy combat, which isn't too surprising, but still worth noting.

sorry it took me a minute to reply back:
open the steam deck in desktop mode
open steam in that mode in desktop mode like you would on windows, click right on blood and go to manage, browse local files
open the hotfix that you've downloaded on this site and replace the old blood file with the hotfix, done.

Unfortunately the level DWE1M9: Spooky World (Secret Level) is (for me at least) still unplayable und stutters like hell (under 8 fps)
I don't know if anybody else has noticed, but I seem to only get frame drops when I have the cd soundtrack enabled. When it's turned off I get near perfect FPS. I assume it's a bug with Fresh Supply, but just wanted to point it out in case this helps anyone having FPS issues. Can't wait for the new episode btw.
This is a flaw in FS. I had a beta tester with a ridiculously powerful PC but if he used CD music his game ran like crap.

first level have big lags, when i out from grave.3 fps in 2 level. But custom levels, like Rapture work is fine somehow.
Your specs are very low end. This may not run well for u. Most of the vanilla maps have a lot of added content which will make them more demanding. Sorry.

Yo! The game crashes when launching, there is the intro cutscene then black screen and crash :( Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Well I found the solution, in fact you have to first launch the game in vanilla before installing the mod, now it works :b
Now I have another problem, I play in AZERTY and I can't find how to change the keys linked to the new content, for example at regular times, Caleb, sends an explosive shot of his own without me asking anything . Do you have a solution please?
Read the readme. All the new attacks are linked to existing buttons. There are no new buttons.
Hey! I have a trouble with lighting. Colors change from bright (brightness level that i set at the beginng of the game) to dark and too saturated. It happens spontaneously in some certain sectors of the maps, it is really annoying when lighting patterns change rapidly. No video/display option has any effect. It is not a hotfix-specific problem, same in BEC 1.1. I guess it isn't supposed to be like that :) I'm confused, any ideas?
