A development preview of Age of Empires 1: HD Edition. Play as the Assyrians or Babylonians. Check out the Roman buildings. Leave comments on how you'd like to see the game balanced. We have not started work on the AI in game. So you'd have to play versus someone online.
This mod is being developed by Scott, Andrew, and Sylwester.
Special thanks to everyone/any site who has helped. Giving us permission to use their assets, reference images, sounds, etc. Special thanks to Durokan for random map scripting
Cut the SCP Modloader to a different location. Run it as administrator, once there create a new .info file by going to tools, point to the directory where the mod is, and choose the image from the directory also.
Click Add/Update mod and scroll to where the .info file was created and select it. Copy the files inside the "Maps" folder to your My Documents\Games\Age of Empires 3\RM3 folder. Copy the sounds to your sound directory.
Launch the game by selecting the mod in the SCP Modloader and hitting play.
Note: This mod is still in development. There will be bugs, balance issues, unfinished assets, etc...
You can switch to an (incomplete) Roman UI by going to /art/ui and /ui and copy pasting the files inside the RomanUI folders into the directory above them. You can do the same to get the Babylonian UI back. Or you could copy the
files inside the NotModifiedUI to get the original Egyptian UI back, although it looks bad.
1504 DL+ from previous versions.
-Sometimes building a house or a tower will cause the game to crash immediately as you press the button to build it.
Leaving any other problems in the comments will be appreciated.
