1. Install AIX2(Core & Levels)
2. Download v0.33 Full Client & install it.3.(Optional) Download Mapppack. Unzip & move to "Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/aix2ex_mm/levels" directory.

I have just test it on windows7 and windows8 and now very nice I have no crush on the deskop when we play in CO-OP mod (cooperative mod) I DO say with bots.
Thank you very much to the devs for their excellent job!
I hope in 2013 July the new AIX Mod version will be OK.

the fixed version of "Great island 2020" crash in "CoOp 64" every time it runs ....
It runs on my ded.server in CoOp. You know it /that Tekktekk ?
The problem ocours after differend runtimes and stops the server complete. Tested today with 3 players online.

Because in this eventuality I could test "Great island 2020" in co-op 64 when sometimes I have a little Free time.
Because with many and many tests on this map maybe we should be able to find exactly the problems about this map and could find cause(s) of crash

My CoOp server is public for everyone...
You can play there if you not banned by Punkbuster, PBbans or GGC.
Map change works if there are 2 players online = map vote.
"Great Island 2020" is setup on all CoOp modes (16-64) as lastest three in rotation. So test it if you will.
btw. the only thing that was changed btw. "old" and "new" is the view distance in game - (in the "init.con")
before = "MaximumLevelViewDistance 600" and the new (map fix) has here "MaximumLevelViewDistance 460".
So it should run normaly....
But without in deep investigations(in bf editor)i cant say yet that every thing is fine in this map. So it can happend that some positions are not correct or anything else like that or wrong vehicle calls or what ever.i belive that the problem comes on with the bots and his use of any vehicle in that map. So i must do an look inside but yet i have not the time to do it. Next weekend - i hope to find the time for it.

First thank you very much about your answer (response).
I wrote my questions about "change map" because I also thought I could change map if there is also a player (one player) on your server. Because when your server is not populated (when I am alone on your server) I think I could do (make) many tests on "Great Island 2020" map without disturbing the players.
But no luck (chance) as you wrote : "Map change works if there are 2 players online = map vote". Unfortunately if I am alone on your server I cannot activate "map Vote".

About "Great Island 2020" in CoOp 64. I found a little time to look inside and i must say an total chaos is there in...
excample :

5_2 is not in navmesh (it is at first stage of an shelter) and should be "OnlyForHuman";
7_0_4 is not in navmesh should be at pos. 150.694/34.581/387.841;
8_2 is not in navmesh (if flys in the air sideways from the pier) should be at pos. 45.4366/30.0657/189.123;
10_1 is not at ground (on carrier) should be at pos. 35.774/47.9696/-355.524;
10_2 is not at ground (on carrier) should be at pos. 136.515/47.9696/-324.043;
10_3 is not at ground (on carrier) should be at pos. -15.405/47.9696/-381.992;
10_3 is not at ground (on carrier) should be at pos. -1.07112/47.9696/-404.83;
ObjectSpawners:
some of the bigges jokes here....
1_CH_US_LightJeep_0 is an ch_bipod and flys in the air (no StaticObject on where it is mounted);
ART has no team based setting (Team 0);
aircontroltower has no team based setting (Team 0);
radar has no team based setting (Team 0);
So why on hell, the modder let the bots spawn directly into an vehicle when an correct inf. navmesh is available ? With that all bots capture the vehicles at round begin and the humans must run on foot. The best way here is the bots should find an vehicle.
To have an better overview what is what there - all things should right renamed i.e. "ART" is "ART" and not "Vtol" ect.pp.
Looks like some work to correct this map in all modes.
Sorry but for me it shows as an quick and dirty work of an map.

You can search the map creator via google -> "Termi3991" and ask him if he have an real working version of his creation - but i think he dont have one....
Then if you look at the other creations from him you can see what for crap he makes there.
Btw. this map - (latest dl) it was beta 1.5 and over 2 years old - from him and there is a lot of work to bring that map to work in coop as i minimal describe above.
So forget this map....
Hello! Can anyone tell if this mod fixes the AI commander (call for artillery etc) for the 1.5 patch? On reg AIX2 commander only works properly on v1.41...
