The third release for Age of the Ring, containing the completed Erebor faction as well as some reworks/additions to the already existing factions.

Content
General
To install, simply run the installer and click the new Age of the Ring shortcut to play. If you do have any previous version installed, you will need to uninstall it in order to install 3.0.
Be sure to check out TheDestroyer001's installation video out if you're having some trouble understanding.
NOTE: AGE OF THE RING REQUIRES THE FULL VERSION THE 2.02 COMMUNITY PATCH.

General
- New faction: Erebor!
- Lots of new maps!
- Map hazards! Lots of maps have hostile creep patrols and environmental danger, such as the burning sun, the freezing cold, unnatural fog on the Barrow-downs, and more. Beware!
- Structure bonuses: resource structures, statues and wells now provide bonuses, such as reducing the cost upgrades, certain units, or buffing nearby troops.
- Each faction now has access to a minimum of two different resource structures.
- Command point system has been changed: you start out with maximum CP, resource structures no longer provide you with more.
- The first mission of our Hobbit campaign: Battle of Azanulbizar!
- The first mission of our Lord of the Rings campaign: The Last Alliance!

- Gondor statue now reduces cost of heroes
- Erebor statue now reduces cost of heroes
- Lorien statue now reduces cost of heroes and basic infantry
- Gondor well now reduces cost of infantry
- Erebor well now reduces cost of infantry
- Gondor Farm now reduces cost of cavalry
- Erebor Mineshaft now reduces cost of personal upgrades
- Mordor Armory now reduces cost of personal upgrades

- Nerfed Orophin's blademaster bonus a bit
- Increased Cost of Riders of Nimrodel to 600 from 500
- Nimrodel Riders now only deal 75% damage to pikemen

Misty Mountains
- Set level 3 Goblin Cave upgrade to 1500 from 150
- Balrog's Scream now stuns units
- Balrog's Ignite now makes enemies flee and reduces the Balrog's cooldown times
Isengard
- Frenzy for Manslayers increased to Level 4 from 2
Known issues
- War of the Ring doesn’t work
- Several new units don't have new voice lines recorded
- Targul Quarry's bridge can't be walked under
- Combo Hordes split into single units and become unattackable
- Stone Thower's volume can be heard accross the map
- Once you cancel something from the Mirror of Galadriel, you cannot buy it again
- Echo on some maps
- Dwarven cah sapper autoability can be used on units, but it doesn't do damage to units since 2.02
- When dwarven combo hordes refill they don't refill to the actual number of types of units they're supposed to
- Cannot decomission combo hordes
- Mineshafts enter a demolition state just before being fully built
- Great Goblin's Antiquarian occasionally spawns a dud

I'm trying to run but it keeps giving me an error along the lines of "Expected signed integer value, math op, or predefined macro, but found 'MEN_FORTRESS_NUMENORIAN_STONEWORK_BUILDCOST" among other error messeges, can i get some help?

I can’t seem to successfully download the setup. It will come out as the file name the it has a [1] at the end, I put it into winRAR but it dosent unpack.....am I doing something wrong? Why dosent it download to a exe file? I’m usibg internet explorer, and not chrome if that makes a difference.
That's confusing. It's an .exe file, I don't know why it wouldn't download it right for you. Delete older attempts and download it again. Don't put it into WinRAR - it's an .exe file, you should be able to just run it.
When it’s finished downloading the file is called “AgeOfTheRing_Setup3.0[1]” and my computer can’t open the file for some reason. Is there another site I can download it from?
I tried it on google chrome and got it working :) can’t wait to play it.

You should check this guide out. You just need to find options.ini and you can edit the game's settings from there. Forums.revora.net
I think that the 2.02 patch switcher also allows you to change the game to common resolutions too.

Amazing and magic Lotholorien faction...and finally the dragon for the dwarfs...best mod of ever...only a problem: the wheels of dwarf's catapult are stopped when it moving...how fix it??

When I try to start the mod I get a game crash message that reads
"Expected signed integer value, math op, or predefined macro, but found 'DWARVEN_BATTLEWAGON_UPGRADE_COST'
Error parsing field 'BuildCost' in block 'Upgrade' in file 'Data\INI\Upgrade.ini', line 3648.
And then there's a bunch of other weird lines in the message that I can't quite understand. Can anybody help resolve this issue?

Make sure BFME2 is on patch 1.06, RotWK is on 2.02, and all other mods (that install in the game's directory) are disabled or removed.
Every game is Out of Sync to these guys in multiplayer.Why?
We're trying to find out.
