It's almost 1,5 km away from the plane, the center is at the plane. If you want the standard camera controls, find following the strings in the cli_ac130_static.tweak:
ObjectTemplate.addTemplate cli_ac130_staticGunnerCamera
ObjectTemplate.setPosition 0/0/1450
and change 1450 to 0, but after that you'll not be able to see behind the level specific view distance limit.
Don't forget to add zoom.

As I wrote, the config is for experienced modders only, and it's adjusted for Khamisyiah map (which is big enough) in AIX2 Reality mod.
The parameter that you need called CombatAreaManager.timeAllowedOutside, look at the end of the appropriate Gameplayobjects.con
Also, if the map is too small, you'll need to adjust the flight radius AND the roll angle.

sup!
i am not really experienced moder or anything, but i was wondering how can i use the file so i will be able to place it and make maps with it via bf2 editor?
been searching for it for a long time!
ps. i reed the description and may i ask: what is Clivewil AC-130? sorry as i said i am just a beginner.

edit: is that ac is the one in alpha project? the one that you need someone in the pilot seat and a co pilot that will lunch them bombs?

Yes, if the template has name "cli_ac130" (see the vehicles/air folder).

Don't understand.
This version is not adapted for bots, they will not shoot from it. It is for human player only.
If you want to see bots firing from the distance, try the Khamisiyah map from my mod. It has two versions of AC-130 - the first is a standard version, driven by bots, with the AI gunner and some paratroopers, and the distant one, which simulates long-range artillery fire.

Устанавливаешь AC-130 от клайвила, размещаешь "zac130_static" примерно в середине карты, точка возрождения уже прописана.
Если нет шаблона zoomgun_8x, то удалить его из твика - ну или скопировать из ПР. Собственно, всё то же самое, что указано в описании. Даже не знаю, что ещё добавить :)
