Description

The 4gb patch found in the Warhammer: BotET-mod - it's required for the Warcraft BETA to work i've been told. I have decided to upload it here so people won't have to download the entire BotET (Beginning of the End Times) submod for Call of Warhammer. Patch your kingdoms.exe, and only do it once. It will make all heavy mods work and be more stable. Without the patch you may experience alot of crashes.

I downloaded the mod but it keeps crashing when I try to start it up. So, I decided to install this patch as well but I'm not sure the exact file to install it in.

You run it using administrator rights then patch the Kingdoms.exe-file found in the Medieval II main directory.

A quick battle will fix that. Then play and you have to every time you boot up. As you don't close the game

So, does this patch irreversibly change the kingdoms.exe file? I have TW and Kingdoms on steam, and I play with my dad a lot, and I don't want to lose the ability to play with him. Will wait for a reply before downloading the patch.

Not sure if it's reversible, but it shouldn't hurt your ability to play with your father. Also, on steam, you should put it onto your medieval2.exe file, as there is no kingdoms.exe in the steam version. They are combined.

You need to copy your medieval2.exe and rename it kingdoms.exe. And patch your Kingdoms.exe with LAA (large address aware) Then you should work.

Right, so i've successfully patched the game now, but when i run the exocutable i get into medieval 2 and nothing indicates that i am using warcraft total war, and to make it even worse everytime i click on something like custom battles or options it freezes, idk what to do. Any ideas? Right, so now i've tried to run it via steam and chose americas since that is what i changed it to in the mods section, and it didn't work. I also tried to change it back and run it, but then the Uh oh, sorry pal error appeared. I'll try to run it with the exocutable again, but i don't think it will work. PLease help me

Hi,
I used 4gb patch because GoT submod was doing CTD every time I started a new campaign.
I patched both medevial.exe and kingdom.exe and now if I open run mod with M2TWEOP or try to start Kingdom.exe or medieval.exe I get an error that it won't start the application.
Is there any way to unpatche the files or to go back to the initial situation without reinstalling everything?
Thanks
