The classic, beloved Star Wars X-Wing series game,1st published in 1994 and rereleased in 1998, has yet to see a successor or equal. Because the gameplay and storyline are robust, there has been tremendous community support for a modernized version with updated graphics and sound. The goal of this project is to revamp a mid-90's classic with some of the best improvements of the 2000's. Yet, the aspiration of this project is to remain true to the spirit of the original game, and provide it a modern feel. This group is open to anyone who is a fan of the game and to those who would like to see an updated version become a reality.
