The website was launched by Xavier as a resource site for the RPG Toolkit in 2000. Just after the software was made open-source in 2004 the site, then called ToolkitZone.com, was selected to become the new official home of the software. Over the years a great sense of loyalty has been built up within the community and their affiliation to the RPG Toolkit, leading to a friendly and fun atmosphere that is well known to make even the most hardened oldbie "come crawling back" in time.
