GTA 5 PC FiveM: Mod released with dedicated servers

After extensive modifications to GTA 5 via OpenIV and Scripthook, the fashion scene is gaining momentum. After having already given some single-player mods, FiveM is now followed by a multiplayer mod. Although still experimental, it allows for extensive multiplayer modifications - including dedicated servers and user-created game modes.

In the explanation of the mod, the team explains that they want to continue to use the stable base of Rockstar. It has been tried and tested since 2008 and causes few problems. However, you want to expand this base with customizable by the user adjustments. However, it must be warned that the mod is at a very early stage and it is also unclear how Rockstar reacts to it.

For example, the mod has to be started via a special launcher in order to be able to provide all features like a server browser. The mod is to be understood as a kind of stand-alone installation, which is told at the first start, where the GTA-5 files are. It also intervenes in the activation and here is the question of how much fun Rockstar understands. As long as it is not considered safe, one should not risk his RSSG account better. Somewhat safer is the use of mods for the single player.

There is a first impression in a video, but those interested should hurry when looking at it: Since the radio is running in the background, it will not be long before Youtube's Content-ID system strikes. If you are looking for videos, you will now find experiments with scripts that allow teleportation in (dedicated) online mode. To experiment it may be fun, but you do not want to play properly online on such servers. Check out our website now at Fivemcartel.com for more information regarding GTA 5 Roleplaying.
