Sorry for the delay...
I'm still here and from tomorrow i'm working on the first ISA units.

I'm going to make a standards model without helmet, then modify it in a series of variants with or without helmets. Is it ok?

Alright, we need to start modeling. You should download the 3DS max trial and work on the ISA marine and M82 Assault rifle. Also for the marine make the marine the full body just take off the helmet so we can make it an helmet entity, since armor really doesn't help the infantry in-game.

However, ISA marines have the helmet that surrounds all the head so it can't be removed: its better to modify other things such the powerful of weapons or the precision to repair the disadvantage by the armor. I thought making ISA marines with helmet as part of the head, as like as the mask for Helghast.

Its more convenient to modify existing models or to make the models just from nothing that still exist in game?

Alright, sure sounds good, but it will get tricky later on in the mod. So I think we should maybe make the helmet attachable instead of built on. What I mean is, with later production of the mod, we'll have to give the marines different heads and such and then add some characters that aren't Templar, Ricco, Sev, Garza, and the last guy I can't really name because I forgot his name.
I hope you see what I'm trying to say.

You mean that is more useful make helmets as separate entities because the bodies can also be used to make other ISA models such for example medic or assault class or maybe characters?

Yes you're right. But i don't know the facility of the helmets in MOW to fly out. So, i'll modify this.

I'm not sure that is a good idea, until we get some work done, we'll have to get it done on our own. I can handle coding the weapons and armors and such. So we'll be able to import the stuff in-game all good and proper.

Sergio, I was thinking, the mask should be part of the Helghast model, but the Helmet its self should be different. But this will not be applied onto special units such as the scout which has its own special helmet.
