My name is Jared Koncsol and I'm a recent graduate from Auburn University with a B.A. in media studies and minor in creative writing. I'm messaging you in lieu of the Discord, as it seems to be down. I am very interested in contributing to your visual novel. I have been screenwriting and writing creatively for about five years now, and have several sample pieces with a variety of tones for you to view at Jaredkoncsol.wordpress.com. I'm looking to get a start in the video game writing field, and feel I have the background and passion for games that will facilitate my success as a game writer. I've been exploring writing in the interactive medium on my own time, but I would love to work with your team of developers to produce a substantial and comprehensive work.
Aside from my writing capabilities (and fluency in English!), I work well as part of a team and am really looking to get some experience working with game developers. I'm a big fan of visual novels and think that interactivity in storytelling is one of the most unique combinations out there. Beyond the technical skill displayed in my writing samples, I think my biggest strength is my ability to conceptualize and continuously develop ideas throughout the writing process. It's important to me to always make sure I keep the "creative" in creative writing.
I'd love to talk more with you about the position. Feel free to contact me at email@example.com (checking off all those requirements!) for any questions, concerns, or requests for more of my writing or ideas. Thank you for your time and consideration!
Hey Black Novel Studios,
I'm responding to your writing gig (your discord isn't working.)
I've been writing professionally for six years, most writing copy, brand stories and some scripts for big brands like Amazon, Kellogg's, WHO, etc.
I'm looking for a little more video game writing/ experience, and this sounds like a good opportunity. You can see my professional portfolio here: nicholasbeaumont.com
If I'm of interest, please message me at firstname.lastname@example.org

I'd love to work with you, and would be willing to put in whatever you need. I have been working on a Novel for most of the last ten years, and would hapily share an exerpt of it to prove my abillity. You can get in touch with me via the Gmail account connected to this profile, and I have a discord account already. If you want to chat there, email me a link.
As others have mentioned, your discord is inactive, but that won't stop my throwing my hat in the ring for a writing role on your team. I am a screenwriter with several years TV experience, multiple short films under my belt, and a longtime passion for gaming. I would be interested in chatting further with you to discuss Atma VN and what I could bring to your studio.
Hope to hear from you soon. Regards,
Hi, I am commenting for the recent post you made today about looking for a writer. I have interest in writing, and is willing to work with your team to write a great story for your VN. I have a fan-fiction I made a while back that I can link you to if you would like to see my style and ability, and would love to touch base with you. I would also like to let you know that your Discord link has already expired, and that you might have forgotten to make it permanent. My discord is ihero4#1609 and my email is email@example.com.
Hey Black Novel Studio,
I am and music and sound composer and I am writing in response to the job posting I saw about a skilled composer for your visual novels.
As a huge fan of games growing up, from action RPGs like Zelda, to Strategy like Final Fantasy Tactics, to turn based Final Fantasy to simulation like Rune Factory and Persona to side-scrollers like Metal Slug; the one thing in common I loved in all of them was the music. I am a huge fan of video game music from all genres and love to write for them.
I would love to be able to collaborate to write some custom music for the title. I love the story and artwork of the game that I've seen so far and I would love to help out any way I can with audio assets. I have skills in various audio needs such as custom music for backgrounds, character themes, location and cg cut scenes, audio editing, or creating unique sound design and effects from menu sounds, footsteps or action sounds.
Just a quick background of myself, I have been commissioned to write for indie games and visual novels before and I have a graduate certificate in musicianship and have studied university level music. I am proficient in music theory and performance; this allows me to write music quickly but effectively to achieve the proper sound for the visual media. In addition, I have a certificate in digital music production. As much as I am an accomplished performer and musician, I am also experienced in audio editing software programs such as Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton Live, and Reason. I am trained in softsynth programs such as Reaktor, FM8, Battery, Kontakt, and Absynth. These tools help me to create unique sounds and sound effects for projects to help compliment the visual. Although I am mainly a composer; I am an accomplished audio engineer who can record a session for audio, and edit, mix and master audio. In addition, I can also help with any sound work that might be needed for the project such as sound editing, sound effects, and sound design.
Below a links to examples of my work and I hope to hear from you. Thank you for your time.
Eric Jeffrey Tan
Composer - Musician - Sound Designer
To Black Novel Studios,
I am writing in response to your advertisement for a Skilled Composer. Thank you for this great opportunity.
My experience as a musician covers almost 10 years, including a 2:1 Ba Honours degree in Music Broadcasting (Specialising in sound recording), and several independent music based projects. One of which has just received radio airplay. Other projects have been well received by industry professionals such as the head of sound for Park Road Production Studios (Lord of the Rings Trilogy).
My compositions fall under the Ambient/Experimental genre and have a strong cinematic style. I have listened to the two soundtrack examples that you gave in your advertisement and am indeed excited at the thought of working on a project such as this.
Working unpaid is no problem for me as I embrace the challenge of working on a project from the ground up.
If you would like to consider me for this role, examples of my work can be found at the link below.
My contact email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to hearing from you.
Hopefully the reason that the Discord link isn't working has nothing to do with you guys finding someone already, but if it is, just ignore this. If not, this seems like something that really suits me. I recently got my certification from Berklee as a Game Audio Specialist, and I've done the music for 2 episodes of the Angry Video Game Nerd, as well as the final boss theme for the AVGN "Game Over" game (which was barely functional, as the Nerd mentions in the video he made about all the AVGN games), so this would technically be my first real game.
On my website, you can see clips of my game audio projects at Berklee in the "Game Clips" section, and you can hear loads of my music in the "Music" section, which has a wide variety of instrumental stuff, both calmer and more intense.

Thanks for your time!
