The description clearly says "a custom skin I made". Not "texture", skin. By definition a skin on GoldSrc is a whole package, model and texture. It's always been that way.
Skinning means you added a new texture to a model that was already made by someone else, it doesn't mean you actually created the full model along with the texture your self. That's how i understood it because of how many others defined it that way, for example people make skins for CSGO weapons and it only includes the texture when you download it and not the model. Another example is skins for Day of Defeat: Source (DoD), you can download skins for playermodels on Gamebanana.com and clearly when you download it you don't get the full package only a texture replacement for the playermodel. That's what skinning means when it comes to 3d models, your just adding a different texture to a model and then uploading it for others to have so don't tell me nonsense like that because i clearly know and understand what the definition really is. Also a whole model package means you made a custom model with new textures, i for one never made this model only the texture so obviously its not a full package but a skin for an npc. The definition of "Skin" when it comes to 3d models is a universal term which is used for "Source", "GoldSrc", "Doom3", "Halo Modding", "Unreal Tournament Modding" and many others so what your saying that it applies only to "GoldSource" is not true. I don't know what makes you think this but its obvious to me that creating a skin for a character means not to make a whole new model with a brand new texture but just to create a texture replacement for a model that's already being used. ONE last note is that when you read my description on the addon that says "a custom skin that i made", it means just that, a custom skin (Texture Replacement) that i made.
Yes but the "GldSrc Engine" requires the models to be as a whole package because of how the engine works so you have no choice but to add a new texture then save the model into a new separate one with a slight change which is the new texture but the model its self is still the same. Other game engines don't function this way but in the case of the half life 1 engine, this is how its done so your still making skins for models but in a different process.
You didn't make it. You stole it from PARANOIA!
I said i made the skin not the model.
Maybe read description first?

This is GoldSrc. Even Gamebanana defines skins as a whole package of model and texture. Just take a look.

Exactly. That's how it works. And that's why a skin on GoldSrc means model AND texture.
Yes so don't say i made this model when i did not, just the texture.
I'm not saying that dude. Just look at my very first comment for f**k's sake.
